Sunset, you're our favourite colour! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ This tropical paradise, AKA Broome, is pretty famous for its sunsets and it's not hard to see why in this pic captured by @paulmichael ! But it's not just the colourful skies that draw visitors to the pearling capital of @australia. You can spend your time here kayaking through turquoise waters, taking a tour of a historic pearl farm, delving into the fascinating Aboriginal history, taking a scenic flight to visit Cape Leveque or, if you time your visit right, witnessing the natural phenomenon of the Staircase to the Moon that kicks off next month. The most popular time to visit is during the dry season from April to September #justanotherdayinWA #thisisWA #WesternAustralia #SeeAustralia
"Itโ€™s always nice seeing something from a different perspective." We have to agree @liamfboland ! And from this angle, Hyde Park in @ExperiencePerth looks incredible! Located only minutes from the CBD, the park is a beautiful green space for a stroll, especially in the coming months when it becomes a kaleidoscope of colour with the changing seasons. It's also home to an incredible water park for the kids shaded by big beautiful trees, and barbecue facilities. Local tip? Before you take a wander through the park, stop into the nearby @chubakery - the donuts and croissants are amazing! #justanotherdayinWA #thisisWA #WesternAustralia #SeeAustralia #seeperth
Hands up who would like to experience this incredible view? ๐Ÿ™Œ Located in the Stirling Range National Park, Bluff Knoll is the third highest and one of the most spectacular peaks in @westernaustralia. Abundant wildflowers, birdlife, exceptional scenery and, of course, incredible sunsets like this one - you'll find it all along this popular six kilometre hike in @australiassw. Bluff Knoll reaches 1,095 metres above sea level and will take you about three to four hours to conquer. A tip: it's best to be prepared for all kinds of weather - even if it's hot at the bottom, it can get much cooler by the time you reach the top. Exploring the waterways of the Kimberley region of @australiasnorthwest. ๐Ÿšค Sounds like a pretty good way to spend a morning, doesn't it? This is what guests of luxury operators like @great_escape_cruises can expect aboard a cruise off the Kimberley coast. Along with rides on the on-board helicopter, excursions to ancient Aboriginal rock-art galleries, mud crabbing, swimming on private beaches, fishing and more! Broome, Derby, Wyndham and Kununurra serve as the main entry and exit points for cruising the Kimberley coast. โฌ†๏ธ Check out our story for more on cruising the @thekimberleyaustralia. We never get tired of the views of the @westernaustralia coast and Francois Peron National Park in the Shark Bay @unescoworldheritage area is no exception! This scenic stretch of @australiascoralcoast is marked by dramatic red cliffs, white sandy beaches and turquoise water. Most of the park is four-wheel drive accessible only so you'll need a good vehicle, but there are awesome camp sites and fishing spots so it's worth the effort. Make sure you pop in to the historic Peron Homestead Precinct too, just six kilometres off the Monkey Mia Road, where you'll find a visitor centre, a self-guided station walk trail, picnic facilities and even an artesian hot tub! "I'm practising for my school photo. How am I doing?" We doubt this cutie needs much practice in the smiling department. Quokkas are known as the world's happiest animal after all! These adorable marsupials can be spotted on @rottestislandwa , in as little as 30 minutes by ferry from @fremantlestory or 45 minutes from the centre of @experienceperth. When you arrive, you'll find plenty to keep you busy like diving, swimming, snorkelling, bushwalking and, of course, quokka spotting, so be sure to have your camera ready to go! We might be biased but we don't think there's too many beaches around Esperance that won't stop you in your tracks and it looks like @beautylookbymarta might agree! Twilight Beach, pictured here, is one of many spectacular beaches you'll see along the Great Ocean Pathway, which is an easy 12 kilometre trail that meanders around the coastline. Highlights include Blue Haven, where granite outcrops jut out into the azure sea to create the lovely bays, Tanker jetty, where anglerโ€™s fish and you can spot Sammy the Seal, and the @taylorstquarters bar and cafe, housed in the old hospital building. You can get to Esperance on a 1.5-hour flight, or an eight-hour drive south-east from Perth. #justanotherdayinWA #thisisWA #WesternAustralia
Now that's a sight worth toasting! ๐Ÿป With views of the picturesque Swan River and @ExperiencePerth city to the west and the foothills to the east, the recently opened @optusstadium has already seen some incredible action on the cricket pitch over summer and we can't wait for the events still to come this year! In the coming months the line up at the 60,000 seat, world-class, multi-purpose stadium includes Ed Sheeran (@teddysphotos ), an @nrl double header and English Premier League giants @chelseafc taking on local heroes @perthgloryfc. Cheers to that! Photo credit: @cory_gale at Optus Stadium's Sky View Lounge #justanotherdayinWA #thisisWA #WesternAustralia #seeaustralia #seeperth
Could Emu Point look any more picture perfect? We think not! With calm waters like this, it's easy to see why this spot just a few minutes from the @amazingalbany town centre is a popular spot for families. Once you've worked up an appetite, the nearby grassed area, shaded by beautiful trees, is the ideal spot for a picnic or you can grab lunch at the popular @emupointcafe. While you're in Albany in @australiassw , be sure to take the 30-minute self-guided walk along the Amity Trail that takes in almost two centuries of history from old convict prisons, whaling ships and taverns to quaint cottages and grand National Trust residences. You'll definitely want the sound on for this one! ๐Ÿ”‰From the eclectic mix of circus, comedy, street performance and more at @fringeworldperth to the breathtaking dance, music and theatre of @perthfest , it's hard not to feel festive in @ExperiencePerth right now. Our favourite has to be the mesmerising chorus of female voices that descend from the sky at dawn and dusk in the city centre. Created by @supplefox and @byronscullin , the beautiful and eerie sounds signal the arrival and departure of the light each day. Check out our story to explore more of the city's festival scene right now. #justanotherdayinWA #thisisWA #WesternAustralia #seeaustralia #seeperth #perthfest #fringeworld
When you're trying to sneak in a little #ValentinesDay smooch but you've got a third wheel hanging around... ๐Ÿ™„ This pair of Australian sea lions were spotted stealing a kiss at Green Head on @australiascoralcoast which is home to a resident population of the rare creatures. It's not uncommon to spot them lazing in the sun on the beaches at @australiascoralcoast but you can also take a boat tour to see them frolic in deeper waters. We hope you're feeling the love today like these cuties! Photo credit: @sealife_differently #justanotherdayinWA #thisisWA #WesternAustralia #SeeAustralia #amazingcoralcoast
Canal Rocks in @australiassw are always an impressive sight, especially on a day like this when @skyperth dropped by. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ This beautiful granite outcrop is part of the rugged Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park in the @MargaretRiver region, where you'll find a series of rocks that jut out into the ocean creating a natural canal, hollowed out by the force of the sea. Be sure to take a walk across the bridge built over the smallest canal. The timber pathway meanders around and across the rocks and will give you the best and safest views - and great photo opportunities, of course! #justanotherdayinWA #thisisWA #WesternAustralia #seeaustralia #australiassw #margaretriver
