Regrann from @julieechristinee
- Not the prettiest push jerk! But I’m trying to work on my explosiveness, since I normally keep to strict movements. Getting out of my comfort zone with putting more weight on the bar... got up to 165 today so I’m stoked about that! Not to mention the first workout in 3 days due to not feeling well. 🙌🏼😅 - #regrann
Welcome to our new Gym Facility Manager, Sean! "After serving in the Marine Corps, I obtained my degree in Kinesiology from Grand View University in order to follow my passion in the strength and conditioning field. During that time, I was a Personal Trainer and coached for Iowa State Football Strength and Conditioning. In 2011 I opened my own personal training business in West Des Moines, Iowa. After a few years of excelling in that area I transitioned to being a Fitness Director (Fit Boss) aboard the U.S.S. George H.W. Bush. While we weren’t out at sea, I assisted with the Norfolk State Football Strength and Conditioning program. My last position was Fitness Director for the YMCA. I have competed in Strongman for the past several years and will compete in Nationals this year. Whatever your goals, we can smash them together!!! "
