Havenโ€™t been out for lunch in a while to save money this year. Today I wanted to treat myself and went out with coworkers for lunch to a burger place. So proud of myself I got the burger with no bun and a side of cucumber and celery! Burger was topped with havarti, onion and avocado. I am full AND got my burger fix. Letโ€™s get real for a second. I had an exhausting day at work, my knee is sore and honestly feeling just blah. I made dinner, ate and just relaxed and watched TV while I went through Instagram. I was having a real pity party feeling discouraged thinking I canโ€™t do this weight loss thing again. After going through my feed and seeing all of your amazing posts, it really inspired me! I got off my lazy, self pitying butt and did over 40 sit ups, 40 knee highs, 60 squats, 40 butterfly crunches and some lunges squats (I lost count)๐Ÿ˜‹ It really made me realize how amazing and how powerful this community is. Just wanted to share my #transformationtuesday post for this week! Every time I am feeling like my weight loss is taking forever or that itโ€™s not enough, I take a look at this photo from 2013. That seems like a lifetime ago. I was stuck in a dead end job, was really unhappy with myself and was an emotional eater. It still took me 2.5 years after that photo was taken until I decided to make a lifestyle change. Since I have worked on my health, I feel more confident, comfortable and life is pretty damn good! I have amazing friends and family who support me and a job I love. Iโ€™m healthier and in control of my health and am enjoying life to the fullest! I am more positive and can run and play with my nephews. I have a new lease on life! If you are feeling like you canโ€™t do it, just think what is actually stopping you? You are capable of amazing things and there is no better time than now. Remember, it is also SO much more than weight loss. Feeling pretty good today. A week back into the swing of exercising every day and eating healthier. Also still cutting coffee during the week and my stomach feels so much better. Switched to green tea in the morning (pictured on the left). I usually only have coffee now once a week on a weekend (if that). Iโ€™ve been eating healthier but still think I can be doing better. I will be cutting out a majority of my carbs and upping protein for my macros. On top of that, I need to go a bit harder at the gym and push myself a bit more (safely). . Later today Iโ€™ll be posting a front and side pic with the date so I have a visual jumping point. Dinner! Meal prep from Sunday cooking. Basmati rice with soy sauce, roasted broccoli and carrots and sausage. I ate way too much and chugged a bottle of water. Next time I need to limit my portions. Doing yoga and floor exercises at home is like a break for me and helps me stretch it out and not overdo it with weights, but still get in a workout. 2010 vs 2018 Age 20 vs 27 I have struggled with my weight for my whole life, mainly with control, moderation and getting active.
