If I could give only one piece of advice for a bride-to-be, it would be to allocate sufficient time for your bride's morning photos. Without the rush of the wedding day, you can really savor each moment and soak in that magical atmosphere. Letting whatever you’re feeling sink in and giving yourself some time to pause before everything gets underway ✨ Planner: @jspindustries Venue: @theuniversityclubweddings . . . #torontobride #torontobrides #torontoweddingphotographer #weddingdress

As photographers, we pay a great deal of attention to light. It is the basis of ALL photography – and impacts what we see, and how we see it. But while we focus a great deal on light, darkness – the absence of light, is often overlooked. This is unfortunate since darkness and shadows are so important as well! The play between light and dark, and the contrast between different shades of light can have a significant impact on a wedding photo, and how you perceive it. Hands down, knowing how to work with these contrasting elements can result in some truly spectacular images! #torontoweddingphotographer ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #torontowedding #torontobride #onekingwesthotel

Oh boy... With Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding only a few days away, I can certainly feel the #RoyalWedding Fever in the air... Can you guess what kind of a wedding dress she will be wearing? 👸 . . . #meghanandharry #torontoweddingphotographer #torontowedding
This past weekend was all about sunsets, gratitude, and love. Oh, and tacos. Lots of tacos. . . . #torontoweddingphotographer #torontowedding #weddingphotography

There’s no sweeter date spot than a lavender field. The moment Kathleen and Nelson mentioned #terrebleu for their e-shoot, I was all in! With thousands of delicate lavender blooms surrounding the scene it instantly evokes magical romance. With such an amazing landscape to work with, you’ll surely end up with a couple of hundred beautiful photos to frame. #WeddingPhotographer Tip: If you’re going for an out of town engagement photo shoot, allocate at least 1.5 hours for photos as you’d want to explore all the great photo spots your location has to offer. In addition, bring a fun prop to your session. Anything from a cute picnic basket to a colorful bicycle would do! #engagementphotos . . . #torontoengagementphotography #torontoengagementphotographer #engagementphotography

Real talk. I know you're worried you'll feel awkward in front of the camera - or maybe worse, your partner will HATE being in photos. But hey! This is where we step in (with a hug and a few tried-and-true tricks to help you look your best in photos). Trust me on this one, we'll guide you through your day and more so you can focus on what truly matters: getting married to your best friend ✨ . . . #torontoweddingphotographer #torontowedding #torontobride

Serious request for ya: Tag a bridesmaid or a groomsman (one for each number) who is most likely to 1) get all misty-eyed during your wedding ceremony 2) be the last one to leave the dance floor on your wedding night ... and 3) who would spontaneously fly to another country with you 🙌🏼 Ready, set, go! . . . #torontowedding #torontobride #weddingparty #bridesmaids
Oh, the sounds of the city: taxi cabs, bike bell rings, the rustling of the streets. I love country-side weddings as much as the next person, but I feel like city weddings don’t always get enough love! There is so much romance in the city – twinkling lights, interesting architecture, vibrant culture – making for a stunning backdrop to your big day. If you’re on the fence about tying the knot in the city, I hope this urban shot from Lesley and Peter's wedding will have you booking a downtown wedding photo shoot in no time! #citywedding Dress: @pninatornai . . . #torontoweddingphotographer #weddingphotography #blackandwhiteweddingphotography
Another Sunday, another wedding to photograph, another reason to be oh-so-thankful. I recently sat down with one of our brides and went through her wedding photography schedule, explaining when things will happen and where we will be taking photos. It was a 10-hour long day, packed with events and exciting photo opportunities. There was no time to stop! She took my hand and exclaimed: "But when will you have a break?! It looks like you will be taking photos ALL day!" And it is true. Being a wedding photographer means being on your feet for 10 hours straight. You have to think about timelines, help the bride and groom navigate through the day, be ultra-responsible under pressure, act as an occasional therapist ;) - all the while taking flawless photos and all the fleeting candid moments in the meantime. Yes, we will work many long hours and wear many hats. But then you see your work randomly pop up on your couple's profile 3 years after their wedding and you remember. You remember the people. You remember the warmth and the overwhelming joy everyone felt on that day. And it makes it all terribly worthwhile ✨ #torontoweddingphotographer . . . #torontobride #torontoweddingphotography #weddingphotography
Don't mind me. Just admiring this ethereal wedding bouquet and dreaming of beautiful weddings ✨ This shot is from a recent creative our team put together last month. The look was inspired by the stunning Heidi Dress by @_narces and complemented by the equally edgy bridal bouquet by @whiteoakflowerco to echo the dress’ delicate floral pattern. How can you apply these elements to your photo shoot with us? Be different! Whether it’s your getting-ready photos on the morning of your wedding, a romantic engagement session, a chic wedding anniversary shoot or a fun family session. Express yourself with your choice of wardrobe! Opt for unique statement pieces that tell something about you and your personality, whether it's a funky kimono in the morning, a jaw-dropping dress for your engagement session or a unique dress on your wedding day. . . . #torontoweddingphotographer #torontobride #weddinginspiration #weddingbouquet
