Check out this nutritional comparison! Both mixed nuts and assorted vegetables are considered healthy snacks! They both certainly have a place in a well balanced diet! However, while cutting, I opt for the high volume foods more often! Look at the amount of veggies you can eat for 50 calories compared to a few nuts! Nuts are a good source of healthy fat, but many people eat nuts as a primary protein source. Notice that the vegetables actually have more protein for the amount of calories. Just be conscious on serving sizes when eating these calorie dense foods.
