This picture was taken after a 12 hour shift and barely getting any sleep the previous night. I did not want to work out, as I don’t most days when I am exhausted. I wanted to go to bed.
But I did not go to bed, I got my happy ass to the gym and lifted some weights because that’s what it takes to become what I want to become. -
Anyone can train when they feel great, are eating amazing, and feel like hitting the gym. Not everyone can train when they don’t feel like going and they haven’t been on top of their diet or sleep schedule. -
What defines you as a person is how you handle negative situations. Are you going to fold and give in? Or are you going to overcome negativity and kick it straight in the teeth. -
I get accused a lot for being on “steroids” which really pisses me off because what people don’t see is my obsession with pushing myself physically and mentally. It’s a lifestyle that has been put into me by my life struggles and my mentors, not some drug.
If you can learn to set aside your own personal comfort in life for the bigger picture, I promise you will be able to accomplish things you never have before, whether it’s in fitness or in life.
I want to help people achieve their goals, and I cannot do that if I don’t practice what I preach. If you have read this far( thank you ) then I want you to understand that you have the power and are capable of achieving the things you need to do, even if you don’t feel like doing them. That is the difference between being ordinary and extraordinary. -
