Leaving for Summit this morning and going to Indianapolis for my first time! Looking forward to a new city and seeing our team from al over!
But first- Leg day had to happen!! Why?
Because I’m sticking to it. I don’t wake up to be mediocre 😄. I do this for me. I want to be better, stronger, healthier and happier.

Transformation Tuesday. The first 3 are me now. The 4th pic is me in February. And the last 3 are of me about 3 years ago. I still have work to do but I feel like I need to appreciate how far I have come. I am about 50lbs down and I'm stronger than I have ever been. I never thought I would be able to run but here I am running 2.5 miles no problem. I am not posting this to show off or make those who aren't quite ready to make a change yet feel bad. I'm posting it to show that if I can do this... Anyone can.
I never thought I would get to a point where working out was a major part of my life. I never thought I would understand how to eat healthier and watch what I put in my body. But here I am, and I still have plenty of work to do, but I think the hardest part of any routine is getting started. I can't wait to help people on their fitness journey and hopefully help people feel like I do today.
1 week until my CPT exam! I can't wait until I'm certified. If you have ever considered making a healthy change, keep me in mind as someone who will be willing to help you along that journey. I'll be official soon and I'll be there to show you, you had it in you all along❤️❤️ Have faith in yourself!

A big part of my work is helping parents understand their children from a biopsychosocial perspective- and to parent to their child’s biology.
Sounds easy, right?
Ya, what no one tells us is that we carry within us trauma from our own childhoods- and that we can learn to understand ourselves better through investigating our own unmet needs.
Adverse Childhood Experiences (the ace score) help us understand how we have developmental or shock trauma that is stored in our nervous systems and affects our attachment styles. When we don’t understand the pathology of our felt and lived experiences and work to compassionately heal ourselves we affect generations who come after us. We are affected by those who came before us.
Healing is hard work. It is messy work. We are hard wired for struggle and thanks to neuroplasticity we can rewire so much within us. *You are worth it.* *You literally have it in you to heal.*
The path toward success (of any kind) is rarely straight and simple. I have the privilege of witnessing many journeys.
Those moments when a client...
