Triathlon is a complicated sport, no doubt about it. At #trisutto
we look to keep things simple, have a process and practice, practice, practice this to remove any barriers to performance.
You are, what you repeatedly do.
We wish trisutto athletes ‘best of mechanical luck’ on race day, as we should all know how the day will go, if we know our athletes well. The only unknown is the unexpected mechanical or mishap.
A timely reminder for Grace to work on her race day process. Sometimes it’s not all about the training, it’s the smaller details. .
Oh dear 🙈 Guess who ended up taking the wrong wetsuit home after the race yesterday? (@amanda_mccaig
I bet you can!!!)
I’m a liability after a race, it takes me a good hour to feel a bit more normal and stop faffing about. Does anyone else get like that? I can barely remember my name... I think it’s a combination of adrenaline with the gels /sugar as I don’t have a lot day to day. Well, that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it 🤣
Thank goodness for the lovely Edinburgh Triathlete folks for popping this pic of lost wetsuits on their social media.
I’m taking solace in the fact that it happens a lot. After all, they all look the same inside out. What did I say about race practice and lessons learned!? I guess I won’t be making that mistake in a hurry 🙈 (ps that’s mine in the middle, soon to be reunited in time for next weekend I hope!🤞🏻)
