Good morning everyone! Day 9/80 Is complete! I hope you got your booty working hard too! (Or at least plan to!) . . I have a lot to do again today! I get to go to my podiatrist and hopefully get news on when this is happening 😬 . And it's SO nice in Massachusetts! 😍 So pumped!! . . . Today I want you to challenge yourself a little more than you usually do! 🌺Do a yoga pose you haven't tried in a long time 🌺Use a heavier weight or resistance band ! (Even 8 --> 10lbs counts!) 🌺Stretch more after your workout (believe me you wanna do this!) 🌺Drink more water than you normally do 🌺Prepare yourself a healthier meal than you had last night 😜 . . . It all adds up over time! I know some people say 'screw It' or 'one bad meal won't hurt' <- which is true to some extent as long as you don't let that roll into completely falling away from your goals! I've decided to cut down my cardio big time on days when I do strength training. Before I used to do 45 mins of cardio as well at 28 mins @kayla_itsines bbg circuit. However I've just completed week 24 for the second time and have decided to switch it up. Trained legs today followed by 20 minutes intense cardio on the stepmaster.

ARE YOU MAKING THIS TRAP BAR DEADLIFT MISTAKE?? - This may seem like a subtle difference, but your head position in the trap bar deadlift (or any deadlift for that matter) is going to be a big factor in keeping your deadlifts pain-free! - As @achievefitnessboston owner @laurenpak22 is demonstrating on the left, looking straight ahead at the bottom of your deadlift will cause your neck to go into hyperextension. This can put a lot of strain on your cervical spine, and tends to also cause you to hyperextend through your lower back as well. - Instead, you want to keep your eyes on the floor, a few feet out in front of you at the bottom of your deadlift. Notice we didn’t say to look DOWN. Looking straight down can cause you to round your back which we don’t want. Looking at the floor a few feet in front of you keeps your neck neutral and helps you to set and maintain a straight spine throughout your set. - As you lift the weight, your gaze will shift to be straight ahead in order to keep you neutral, and then as you lower back down, you will shift your gaze back down toward the floor. - We hope this subtle change makes a big difference for you! Another Wednesday, another workout ☺️ i did 5 rounds of this workout and finished in about 25 minutes. . . ➡️ alternating reverse lunge with weight pass under the front leg (keep your chest tall and try not to lean forward) to and single arm press. X8 RL ➡️ bent over row x10 ➡️ line hop burpees x 10 total ➡️ upright row to front raise combo x10 ➡️ plank with weight pull x10 total . . . Nella sezione palinsensto sono state inserite le fasce per prenotarsi agli OPEN: ogni lunedì, venerdì e sabato anzichè segnarvi alla classe vi dovrete segnare nella vostra fascia di preferenza per eseguire il WOD. Questo ci serve per organizzare spazi e judges. ❗️❗️❗️ATTENZIONE❗️❗️❗️ La fascia privilegiata e a cui speriamo aderisca la maggior parte di voi è quella del SABATO pomeriggio: il Box verrà interamente dedicato all’evento. Non incoraggiamo, ma lasciamo comunque a disposizione, le fasce del venerdì e lunedì sera: questo perché dovrete accordarvi voi con un giudice (coach o competitors) e ricavarvi uno spazio al box per eseguire il Wod. Lasciamo questa fascia solo per chi ha effettivi problemi di lavoro o altro di inderogabile nella giornata di sabato.
