Strength club! A specific 6 week program for strength gain. Sessions are twice a week, structured and recorded to ensure effectiveness and improvement. Varying tempo and intent are easy ways to train for different adaptations while using the same exercise. Slow repetitions (1st rep) help develop motor control and proprioceptive awareness of body position in space. Isometric holds (2nd rep) develop specific joint angle strength, and high velocity maximum intent reps (3rd rep) improve stability and rate of force development (RFD). If you’re limited on equipment, changing tempo and intent are great ways to make a movement more challenging or induce a different kind of stimulus with a constant load.
