I will always get my best workouts in on Saturday! Absolutely killed interval sprints and arms today so I'm on top of the world! Fairly empty gym +no plans = killer workout.
Also, I'm starting a new fitness program soon to keep me on track for that summer bod and I'm super excited to fully commit!

Went to a new gym this morning 😍 that’s one thing I love about vacationing - new equipment, new atmosphere, new energy - - had a good, quick and effective leg workout this morning! Set my alarm for 6:45 (5:45 our time), ate breakfast, had a good workout, then went to the sign expo for the afternoon! Such a good day but man I am wore out! Here’s a few clips of what I did this AM:
✖️ Basic Squats with a squeeze at the top - I truly believe the squeeze makes such a difference!
✖️ One Leg Deadlifts - I completely underestimated this type of deadlift when I’d see it done. I didn’t believe it was effective until I decided to switch it up last week and try it for myself. And BOY do I love it! This was super-set with the squats listed above. .
✖️ Glute Bridges - this is the heaviest I’ve gone thus far. 225lbs! Felt good 😍
Cannot WAIT to go out and explore Orlando tonight!

I’ve been studying anatomy today after gym. It’s so challenging but I love how I can find them with my own hands and after that try and do the movements the muscle does. I’ve learned so much and I can’t wait to start sharing all of the information with you once I’ve studied a little longer!

Still working on my center-split goal! I think this will probably take all year, but I’ve been trying to stretch out everyday. Some days I feel tighter than others, but I always feel relaxed at the end! What I’ve found works best for these long term goals is to break it up into shorter term goals so it doesn’t seem so out of reach.. So, I measured how high up I am from the ground while attempting my center-split using my fists.. and currently I am about 2 stacked fists high (this method of measurement is not suggested haha I just decided last minute to measure and was already in position.. which always takes a few minutes to get in and out of 😂) Anyway, my short term goal will be to get down to one fist by May 24. That will give me 2 whole months! The thing is, I honestly am not sure if my body will adjust that quickly, but I DO know, with consistency comes progress, so I WILL be closer to my goal! So, let’s just practice and see what happens! Any suggestions for specific stretches I should be doing?? Thursday’s Workout 💪🏼
Filmed the last set for all of it as I forgot to do it before 🤦🏼♀️ (hence all the resets on the deads) also didn’t film my front squats as I needed the safety pins to ‘spot me’ rather than get those angles - safety firsts kids 💁🏼♀️ Working within the strength rep range but I defo could have gone heavier but didn’t want to push it ... 🏋🏼♀️ * Sumo Deadlift 4x6 80kg * Front Squat 4x8 40kg * Split Squats 4x8 40kg * Good Mornings 4x8 40kg
Finisher - 5 rounds of barbell complexes (to come tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled 😉)
Today’s workout included a little bit of everythang 👌 started with a 20 minute HIIT ride (thanks @onepeloton
!) and then finished up with this circuit (which I only made it through two rounds because I got v tired 🤷🏼♀️). Try 2-4 rounds! Have fun! Here’s what I did for the circuit 👇
-Single arm thruster (heavy, 5 reps, each side)
-Kneeling KB slasher (narrow stance, 10 reps, each side)
-Split squat (heavy, 5 reps, each side)
-TRX reverse bicep curls (10 reps)
Heading into the weekend on a high.
Today’s run: 4 miles, 7:37 pace
