Day 9: Have you ever been to the desert?
This is Wadi Rum in Jordan or The Moon Valley as they call it. Personally think they should rename it to The Mars Valley. It’s well worth taking a jeep tour, going on a camel ride, taking a hike or rock climbing or even flying above it all in a hot air balloon. Surprisingly there are quite a few spots to explore. If you’ve heard of Lawrence of Arabia, this is where he lived for a bit. It’s truly a barren landscape and a great way to escape from everything. At times you can feel like the only one in the world.

Under the falls, the rush of water consumes your senses. A surreal experience in the forests of Oregon...
Kochi is like #India
saying "hey look, we've reserved a private little slice of India just for you". It is clean, uncrowded, organised, quiet and calm with amazing sunsets across the Arabian Sea. •
After spending a whole week here to relax, i'm off on another 14hr+ train ride today to my next stop.. Goa!
I'll be the first one to admit that I am always looking towards the next adventure, the next photo, the next big thing. However, I am starting to realize how important it is to enjoy the present and see the beauty in the moment right in front of me. I had one of those moments taking this photo a few years back in Zions. No it's not flashy but it's a photograph I could look at for decades and still find something new. Beautiful things don't ask for attention. #werutah #visitutah #zionnationalpark
Ice, Ice, Baby ❄️ • On the first day of spring, a person at the North Pole would see the sun skimming across the horizon, beginning six months of uninterrupted daylight. A person at the South Pole would see the sun skimming across the horizon, signaling the start of six months of darkness. I don’t know if I would enjoy either 🤔

We've been looking forward to our dinner at Bodega de los Secretos. The restaurant is buried deep under Madrid. Originally, it was a winery that was built in the 1700's. It was hidden away when Napoleon invaded Spain, and preserved. @bodegadelossecretos
