Diving deep into the emotional and spiritual side of weight loss and gain. I KNOW what to eat to lose weight. I’ve done it before. I don’t need another new diet plan, another new nutrition book. Those are awesome and so helpful but I’ve pretty much read or own them all. I’ve been almost half of my current weight before and had people tell me constantly how great I looked, how amazed and proud they were. But I wasn’t truly proud of myself. I liked having cuter clothes. But I was still not quite right. Pretty much every time I’ve lost a substantial amount of weight I then ended up suffering from horrible anxiety, sudden deep depression, and feeling sooo alone. I need to get to the bottom of that. I’m sooo uncomfortable in my body when it’s heavier, but when I am I rarely suffer with anxiety. What’s up with that?! I always thought I could lose the weight and the rest of my life would feel perfect. I have after all, a very blessed life now. I am learning day by day that I cannot just focus on making my body smaller. It’s not just calories, carbs, or cardio. I need to excavate my deepest hurts, issues, traumas and let.that.shit.go. I thought I had, but I’m realizing I had bags I’d hidden even from myself. Another smith machine video 🙄🤷🏼♀️ what can I say, I’m in love with this exercise on leg day! 100 squats every time I use this! I am constantly working and improving on my technique. Consistency and determination to succeed is the only way to smash your goals!! Today I trained on the floor without feeling like I didn’t belong there. Small things are changing but they’re making big differences to my training. I am officially my original goal weight of 75 kgs but I’ve changed it again 😂 down to 65kgs I go 😂 also please excuse my setting up wiggle 😂 I’ll break that habit

Many of my clients are busy professionals. More often than not (and I'm speaking for myself as well here), we tend to do everything ourself. Sometimes we work extremely hard to earn respect. A valuable lesson is that we don't have to do it alone. 🖤
Now lets talk body-respect. You don't have to immediately accept your body to learn to respect it. Respecting it means learning to treat it with dignity and meet its very basic needs. 🖤
How many women out there treat their children, partners, or even pets better than you treat yourself? You feed them, take them out for walks, and most of all you are kind to them. 🖤
Lets learn a new way to take care of ourself today. Just like a boss has to find the right people to help them build their business, so do we need to meet our basic needs. This is a critical turning point for women that give way too much in business and at home. 🖤
How are you going to respect your body today?
Some days are so much harder than others. Today is one of them. Pushing my limits physically and mentally, I’ve pushed myself to go to the gym and do something. Anything! I can see the changes in pictures but the mirror is yet to be kind to me. Small things I’ve noticed, like a slimmer face and smaller waist but it’s the other things I pick on. I’m so blessed to have people who support me and tell me everything i forget to tell myself. I always forget to show myself that extra love and positivity. So here’s a picture, a post @saltofit

Monday at 5am is tough, but I never regret it when I'm done!

My chest and arms are so sore this morning. I bench pressed last night, lifted some new weights and pushed myself a little further than yesterday, even though I’m absolutely exhausted from work. The next few weeks are about to get really tough! Working full weeks and training afterwards!! I got this💪🏻 on a side note, I think I’ve become obsessed with boomerangs 😂
myth: yu cant lose weight eating pizza chips fries and soft drinks.
fact: although those armt the healthiest items and i dont reccomend eatinf them everyday (LMAO like i been doing for the past three days) yu cant still lose weight. weightloss is all about the cLories yu intake. your body doesnt see weightloss as eating brocolli and salads and inreturn losing weight. (INFACT alot of the salads that you find at most restaurants can have the same or more calories as a side of fries or some sandwhiches or entrees. this is due to the toppings that are added like nuts pr sugary fruit or cheeses or salad dressing!! so always remember dressings COUNT its not just a salad...) it actually just sees it as macros and the intake of calories. so as long as you are under the amoung of calories you burn in a day yu still will lose weight. thats why i or you. can fit in icecream pizza and crisps in your meals without being scared of weight gain. i also reccomend letting yourself indulge in a slice of cake or some chips if youre craving it. instead of restricting until you binge and actuallly over eat. because going 100 cal over your calorie goal is better thansaying no to a few bites of dessert and the next week binging on 1000+ cal . :) just sum i wanted to share hopefull it helps some people •
