Lets face it. DIETING SUCKS!!!⠀ ⠀ You start off with the best intentions - getting #BeachBody ready and all that but our mojo goes out the window after a few weeks/months on plan.⠀ So here's some tips to get you re-focused, re-aligned with the diet fever⠀ ⠀ ☑️ Drink plenty of water. Not only does it help with cravings but it helps with hunger too. Sometimes when we feel hungry, our body is actually crying out for a drink. Aim to drink 2-3 litres per day⠀ ⠀ ☑️ Don't focus on the total amount you need to lose - when we do that, it seems like we're climbing Everest with no training. Instead focus on the first 5-7lbs then after that look at another 5lbs.⠀ ⠀ ☑️ Focus on how far you've come rather than how far you've got to go. Lost 5lbs? maybe 10lbs? or more even. Every lb you lose is taking you 1 step closer to your goal. Remind yourself of where you started but keep in mind you aren't there anymore and you won't be there again - Past is for reference not residence⠀ ⠀ ☑️ Most people think of diets as deprivation of food, saying no to things but lets flip that thinking.... instead of depriving yourself, you're actually giving yourself more... More confidence and self esteem, more happiness, better long term health, better opportunities. The only things you'll notice less of is worrying about how you look in photos, worrying less about fitting into clothes etc.⠀ ⠀ ☑️ Make the most of support. Slow your scroll! My name is Laurie Palmer and this my Burn DUO Experience. I’ve been a loyal Thriver since February 15, 2016. With the simplicity of taking my vitamins on an empty stomach, and after 30 minutes I drink the amazing Lifestyle Mix and I apply my DFT, I couldn’t think of feeling better than that! As I was finishing up a rather large apple, I realized that I was feeling full. What? I started to eat more often, but I had to make my portions small. This is no joke people! Day 9: Today I am on my 9th day with Burn and I am feeling as great, if not better, than my first day of Thrive. I stopped counting my steps per day because I’m just loving that I have even more energy to use throughout the day. I do not diet, ever, but I do love healthy foods. I’m eating low carb and low sugar foods, primarily because that’s all I crave. Along with the water intake and the awesome sleep I’m getting, I will say, that Operation Bomb has impacted my life immensely. You may get some results in the beginning, but you can never hold onto them very long because all or nothing approaches leave no space for mistakes, change, disruption, or normal life turmoil. And since life doesn’t exist without mistakes, change, disruption, and life turmoil - it’s a losing strategy. . . 👉This perfectionist mindset often causes the other issues in this post ... lack of consistency, grass is always greener, wanting immediate results or else, and burn out from a pace that’s too intense to sustain. It’s pervasive! . . 👉If you want to go all in, do it!! It’s a great feeling. But know that going all in INCLUDES mistakes, change, disruption and life turmoil. ALL IN = ALL IN. It’s not conditional. Accept the entire experience - including the mistakes, life turmoil, disruptions, and change. And if you don’t want to go all in, there are a billion options between all and nothing. It’s like trying to find a place to visit between California and NYC. There are tons of great places between the coasts. Expand and explore. You can.

By my buddy @sahibkareer - 🔽COMMON MISTAKES LADIES MAKE🔽 ⠀⠀ Before we jump into the list, I just want to point out that these are the mistakes ladies make when trying to lose fat and “tone”. Obviously, there’s nothing bad in doing excessive cardio if you’re for instance long distance runner, but for the purposes most ladies follow my page not so much. 👇 ⠀⠀ 1⃣ Doing excessive amount of cardio – I see so many ladies prioritizing cardio over diet and lifting weights. This is wrong approach and the truth is that cardio DOESN’T directly burn fat, it only helps you burn a little bit of extra calories which could help in creating a calorie deficit. So, you shouldn’t overdo it nor you should prioritize it. ⠀⠀ 2⃣ Isolation movements – Second thing is focusing only on the exercises that involve one joint and one muscle group. Instead, focus on the compound lifts, and include a little bit of isolation exercises. ⠀⠀ 3⃣ Restriction – Okay this one is super common, almost every woman I talk to says she’s only eating clean food and consuming ~1000 calories a day. This may give you short-term results but it’s not sustainable and it won’t work in the long run. You’ll find yourself binging frequently. Also, there’s a high possibility of losing a good percentage of the muscle mass due to huge deficit. ⠀⠀ 4⃣ Lifting loads that are not challenging – this one is like the second one, as I said you need to focus on progressing in the exercises and actually make it challenging. That's how you “tone up “ ⠀⠀ 5⃣ Trying to spot reduce fat – Sorry, just not possible. Focus on lowering your total body fat % ⠀⠀ 6⃣ Lastly, get a plan that supports your preferences and schedule. You need a CLEAR ACTIONABLE PLAN that will get you to your goals. ⠀⠀ Questions? Doctors appointment went good. He is ecstatic with how my hair is growing. PTH is excellent, thyroid is great. Blood tests were all positive results except my cholesterol being high but not as high as it was. Vitamin C is at 82 need it to be 100 so now I have to take my chewable Vitamin C 2 times a day. 1.5kg lost in a month. 5kgs lost in 2 months since I started my TruVision Journey and drinking 3.2 L of water a day. 8kgs lost all together since March/April 2018 😄 We discussed possible alternative routes if I am unable to lose the weight I need to. I have until November/December to achieve my goals, if not, then we talk about applying for a procedure. I re-do my blood tests in 3 months time.
