What are my expectations for VSG surgery?
My 3 main expectations:
1) Its said that vsg will help you lose about 80% of your excess weight. My current BMI is 46.3. My height is 5'5, 278lbs. A "healthy" weight for me is about 120lbs-150lbs. So what I expect is to get to about 160lbs-170lbs and bulk up to about 180. I expect for my total transformation to take about 1 year, give or take. The size I hope to get to is a 34 to 36. I will spend a year losing weight (fat) and then focus on building muscle from that point on. I want to get into weightlifting and cross fit.
2) I expect to motivate and inspire my family and friends to live a Lil healthier. I know that some people are going to discredit me because I am having surgery and some people think that's a "short cut", and I'm cool with that, but the people closest to me will see my dedication and hard work and hopefully join me.
3) I expect to change my eating habits totally. I want to eat less meat. I don't want to go vegan or nothing, ( cause I love eggs, and chicken) but I do want to cut beef out completely, I don't really eat pork now but I would like to cut that out completely. Also I want to eat less chicken. Maybe eat chicken 1-3 times a week. I want to try different veggies and hopefully find one that is my favorite but I don't know it yet.
😎 I expect to be more active. My weight right now is stopping me from being as active as I want to be. I expect to explore different activities. I want to learn to surf, long board, do pull ups, lol ect. I want to hike, swim, play basketball more, and more. So I expect to get back to having fun.
If you got this far, thanks for looking. 😁
