I got on the right a salad with lettuce, cheese, fajita veggies, tomato salsa, steak, and beans 🥗⠀
There's nearly a 600 kcal difference! And the salad is filling enough for most people.⠀

Wanna know how/when I knew I was ready to be a coach? It was approximately two weeks ago and it was the moment I finally felt ready to share this transformation picture. I also was able to identify why I've been avoiding sharing a transformation picture: I hated the idea of being pitied for ever being the girl on the left.
The interesting thing about this picture, is that, although the left side looks drastically different from the right side, it's not different at all. Both pictures are of a silly, happy, funny, spontaneous, pizza-loving, beer-drinking, crossfitting, banana-eating runner girl. I'm still me. I'm just stronger and faster and more confident.

I don’t know how it happened, but the next thing I knew I was on the bouncy obstacle course we were volunteering at this morning at our church’s Easter Egg Hunt 🤷🏻♀️ I considered my size, the safety of the children who were being bananas, and ultimately decided they were safer with an adult right in the thick of it helping them out & keeping the bigger kids from trampling the smaller kids 😂😂😂 It was bananas, but so fun and FOR SURE a ginormous NSV for me!
Mental Health is such a crazy ass hurdle when it comes to weight loss.
When I first came to Armstrong (now Georgia Southern) I weighed around 240. And I vividly remember being terrified because that meant I was only 20 pounds away from being my (then) highest weight of 263. And in my freshman pirate cars picture I thought I looked so fat. Fast forward almost 50 pounds later and this is my brand new ID. NOW, yesterday when I got it my very first words were “oh wow, my double chin isn’t as bad as I thought it would be” — and I can’t lie, I actually kind of liked the picture!
But in the 24+ hours since, I’ve analyzed this picture over and over. I formed residence in every line and fold that showed signs of my weight. I took stock of the chubby cheeks making my eyes barely notable. I appreciated the perfect circle my face has become. I began getting upset and that same soul crushing feeling of my own body’s weight began to pour over me. And instead of that kicking my ass in gear, I went out and ate unhealthy, non vegan, gluten charged foods. And then felt WORSE.
And now I just feel like a water balloon. I know this isn’t the uplifting olivia from yesterday. But this is real. Nevertheless, the journey continues on. #weightlossjourney

To the girl struggling beating herself up because the scale isn’t moving or it’s higher than it’s been before.
Is hopping on that scale the most dreadful thing in your week? Why is that?
Remember that the scale is simply a tool telling you where you’re at on your journey, if you’re getting closer or slightly off course from your goal. That’s it.
It’s a tool like many other things you can measure progress, like your clothes fitting tighter or looser, measurements, habits you’re strengthening, your outlook on life shifting ,etc.
It doesn’t have to be a horrible thing when you step on there but if it is horrible — ask why? Because the scale itself is just a tool, not anything inherently evil that’s out to get you.
Is the part that hurts are the thoughts that come flooding in? Thoughts like
👉🏻I’ll never get to my goal
👉🏻I’m so fat
If that’s the case then know that the number doesn’t say anything about who you are or what you can do — you get to decide each day that you’re amazing no matter what the number is and that you will get to your goal even if it’s just one baby step at a time.
Check your thoughts when you see your weight and choose not to believe those negative thoughts that are causing you so much pain. Be fierce, warrior ❤️

Even though the weight loss itself hasn’t been that drastic, I’ve noticed a pretty significant weight SHIFT. I’m just really excited to start enjoying my body for the first time in over a decade.
When I am feeling myself I does go full paparazzi on myself. Ugly never look this damn good! 💄 I love Cardi B. for real.
