I could not fathom working out with this vest! I’ve seen others use it but the thought of me using it did not ever enter my mind! I got the shock of my life when my trainer brought it out!!
What?? I honestly thought he was joking! I just laughed, but then I saw it was for real!

So folks! That was just my first half hour at the gym this morning! Totally wasted but feeling chuffed & really excited by what I was able to do!
Of course no matter how I felt, I wasn’t going to miss my Friday classes
Nothing like another million lunges & squats to test your physical AND mental stamina & strength! I even upped my weights for the back track today! 🤦♀️😂 Swipe to see what I used.
Of course if you’re too fatigued you can come down in effort to keep safe.
Life is such a learning experience & what I love about PT is that not only do I learn new skills but I learn more about myself, my mental strength, & that with the right mentality my upper limit is always higher than what I originally think it is! 🙌

I stepped outside my comfort zone when I put this 10kg weighted vest on. 40 minutes, almost 400 calories and one seriously red and sweaty face!

3.2km run on self-powered treadmill with 9kg vest. Personally for me, very challenging part of our deload week. But thats the another part of Crossfit or any training in general. Find your weaknesses and work on them.
kicked my butt on that run but I'll be back💪😂.
