💪🏾 || Throwback SELF-LOVING Thursday. • • Welp, life comes at you quick. 🤷🏾‍♀️😂 The pictures are pretty much self explanatory BUT it doesn’t tell the story...and boyyy can I tell stories! 🤦🏾‍♀️🤣 • In 2011 I was 3 years out of high school, working a part-time job w/ zero to little REAL responsibilities, carefree + as happy as could be. I was the smallest + lowest weight I’d ever been in my entire life. • By 2016, in the words of Drake, “Nothing Was The Same”. My world spiraled. Losing my gramma a week + a half before Christmas of 2012, the sudden shock of Orlando being murder not even a year later in November of 2013, a whole lot of drinking + eating which I feel like led to depression and I was extremely overweight, classified obese. • Now it’s 2018 ANDDD I’m 52 lbs down! 🎉 It took a bad day in January 2016 for me to realize that I didn’t want to live the way I was + no one was in charge of my life but me, so I changed, still changing. So in honor of being halfway through my dedicated year of self love, self care, here’s 2 throwbacks and a current! Because if I can do it, anyone can! 🤗💕

I dyed my hair again today. Things haven’t been great, I’ve had a lot of mood swings and just overall feeling crappy. It hasn’t been fun. Had an argument with my mam today too, felt shitty afterwards. I want to start losing weight again, in a healthy way this time tho, I think, idk, maybe not. I am a strong and independent woman. I’ve come such a long way to go back now. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and I cannot wait to start my new part of the journey. I am only 3lbs away from my overall 100lbs weight loss in a year target. I am going to smash it. I think this is the best I’ve looked in a long time. I have my gym clothes on, my messy hair yet I feel powerful. I feel like i have a purpose. I’m implementing weight training into my routine and I’m looking better than ever. I’m lucky to say I have no lose skin after nearly a 10 stone weight loss. I’m blessed with that part. Weight loss does come with a price. idgaf i just wanna say im super proud of myself. 💪I weighed 207 lbs (im only 5'2"!) after i gave birth to my second child. i can proudly say ive lost over 53 at this point. as someone who has constantly struggled with my weight- this is amazing to me. mostly because i FEEL so much better & can honestly say ive made major lifestyle changes and put in plenty of work to get here. i'm still a work in progress and ill always have stretch marks and a mommy belly but i'm ok with that. ❤💪
You might think it's stupid to be happy for this small achievement but for me it's huge. I'm so lazy and I never followed any diet before and I always give up on the gym. Now I try to pay attention on the food that I eat and go to the gym twice a week, also I walk as much as it possible. Minus 3cm off from my waist.♡♡ My work pays off and I'm over the moon.
