Day 1 of really trying to dig in and do a small workout. I feel lost. The morning I went to Labor and Delivery I was 183.6 pounds. Today I am 157. I am determined to forget those numbers. The only way for me to do that is to start feeling good again. What’s the next step to feeling good again? Getting back into decent shape. Am I bodybuilding again? Ha! In my wildest dreams I’d have that body again. However, I am wanting to be a healthy me for Scarlett and of course for myself. So let’s go. Day 1. Small Pilates session at the house.
What do you burn in your workouts?? Orangetheory work out for an hour and the concept is you keep burning up to 36 hours after! YEZZZZZ says the girl addicted to avocado 🥑

That is how I was feeling about my nutrition before I was able to take this pic back in 2015. I wanted my body to change but I was not changing the foods that I was eating. Kind of like the definition of insanity, right?! 😝
I was unable to achieve the results that I wanted just through exercise. I had to focus on what I was putting in to my body along with the exercise! Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand the “you only live once” mindset because I have been doing that for most of my life BUT... YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE! Being fit looks different on everyone. To me being fit is doing something today that your body couldn’t do yesterday, last week, last month, or even last year.
Confidence looks different on everyone. To me being confident is being comfortable in your own skin. Being true to who you are even if that means not being part of the crowd.
A journey is an experience that only you can know and understand. It’s through your eyes and it’s about your choices. We often think of how to get from point A to point B and say ok I’m done. But it is the journey in between those two points that makes it memorable.
Self discipline is about doing something even when you don’t want to. Doing it when it is hard, saying no because your bigger picture goal means more than gratification in the moment.
Personal development, is working on yourself everyday. You have to be teachable in life. You can’t ever stop growing if you want to be the best version of you.
