I guess I'm talkative today. I haven't been too active on here with yoga posts, haven't been sharing my thoughts and feels about my weightloss journey, but I just haven't really wanted to.
The breakup I went through took a lot out of me, but I'm gradually doing better. I've been working a fucking lot and with it being summer, it's the perfect time to be doing all the stuffs I can possibly do while enduring this gawd awful heat. I'm still religiously attending my hot yoga classes Mon/Weds/Fri, and the past month or so I've golfed every Sunday (I will post about that later). Not much has changed weight-wise, which is why I made the appointment for my plastics consult. I need a little motivation for the last 15/20lbs and to actually quit smoking 😒 I'm still sitting at 200, which is good... I'm not gaining anything, but I would obviously like to hit my personal goal of 175. I'm just continuing to tone up, even though sometimes I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere... then I compare pictures or notice that clothes are fitting differently, so that makes me feel better. I'm sick of the loose skin, though. Seriously ready to have it taken off. I let it bother me, and I wish I didn't. I've come far and should appreciate it, but I just can't. I did in the beginning, but these days it's just in the way.
Well, now I've run out of things to say about all that lol. Love y'all.

Sunday meal prep is complete!
This is probably one of my favorite make at home meals of all time!
⭐️Mexican Polenta Muffins
▪️1 tube of polenta (I find mine in the pasta aisle of the store)
▪️1 small can of green chilies
▪️2 chicken breasts
▪️Green enchilada sauce
▪️Refried beans (I used black beans - if you are not on pureed Foods use can use whole beans)
▪️1 can of Rotel (I actually made my own fresh salsa for this time - recipe in the comments)
▪️Jar of queso (I use queso blanco)
▪️Shredded cheese (I used Mexican blend)
*I used a crockpot to cook my chicken, but you can cook your chicken however is best for you and then mix the sauce afterward*
-In a crockpot, place two chicken breast and cover with enchilada sauce. Cook on high for 3 hours. Removed chicken and purée and put back into sauce. (You can just shred it with a fork in the pot if you are not on puréed foods)
-Cook for another 30 mins in the sauce.
▪️Preheat oven to 375 degrees
-In a mixing bowl, removed polenta from packaging and mash until there is no more clumps. I just use my hands.
-Drain can of green chilies and add to polenta, mix well.
-Spoon polenta into a silicone muffin holder or a greased muffin tin and push polenta down and up the sides of the whole until it creates a “crust”
*I used to make this recipe casserole style, but tried this muffin way to help with portions - if you want to make it casserole style, use a 9x9 casserole dish and add all the polenta to the bottoms and press down until “solid”*
-Bake for 20 mins
-Remove from oven
-Start assembling your layers in the hole of the polenta “crust”
-Add chicken mixture first
-Spoon a layer of beans
-Spoon a layer of salsa
-Spoon a layer of queso
-Top with shredded cheese
-Bake again for 20 mins or until cheese to melted to satisfaction 🤗
-if you are not eating it right away, let them cool ALL the way before removing from the tray to place in meal prep containers or you’ll make a mess
Note: I had extra meat left over so I made enchiladas for my husband.
🔥Monday Motivators 🔥
Woke up a better person today, feeling energised and ready for the challenges ahead! I used to be afraid to look at this body in the mirror, now I get excited to wake up and look at what I have been blessed with daily! ❤️ everyone’s entitled to happiness even with all those lumps and bumps haha

In honor of yesterday’s National Handstand Day (I know I’m late, lol).
When the scale stalls and you feel a little down on yourself you take progress pictures. This puts things into perspective! January -> Today.
40 pounds down & loving life post op!
Before & after. It’s weird how some days the sleeve is so much more restrictive than others. Friday I literally wanted/could eat everything in sight. Today was this 🤷🏼♀️ made this into 2 more meals
I'm so English it's scary. Even with sun lotion on I go nice and brown on the bottom of my arms and then just RED. However, day 6 of #LondonWLSMeetupChallenge
and I didn't drink a single beer! Tomorrow though is my 2nd and final pre-arranged social engagement. I'm out having a "day sesh" with one of my best friends. After that it's beast mode for 14lbs off before London. I'll weigh in tomorrow morning 👍🏻
Starting the full liquids stage! Question for my other sleevers: did you track your clear liquid intake on top of protein drinks, or did you include ALL liquids in the daily 64 oz goal? I’m having a hard time meeting the daily clear liquid goal, even though I’m drinking an ounce every ten minutes. In other news, I just joined #fatgirlfedupsdietbet
latest dietbet! @fatgirlfedup
I might actually win one this time! Things are slowly improving and I feel a little more independent each day. I managed to get out of bed from laying down this morning, which I consider an accomplishment.
Happy Sunday everyone! So I’m a bit of a rebel and I am suppose to start soft food stage on Tuesday. I have been feeling more hungry lately, almost like my sleeve is telling me girl I need more solid food. So I had 1/4 cup of shrimp ceviche for dinner last night. It went down nice and I had no problems with it.
