January is the worst month in the year for me: usually the weather is awful, almost every day is dark so working is like everyday struggle with a natural light, but I still find that we can enjoy spending days at home baking goods, painting, playing with lego, etc. What about you? Do you have your favourite months or those you don't like? 😁
Bank holiday getaway last spring. No tv, no WiFi, access to local shop only at low tide; and this view from the bed. Perfect.
Yes please! 🍸🍸
I'm definitely ready for some G&Ts tonight!
As you can tell by my name here, I am quite the fan and it looks like I'm not alone in the UK. Apparently we're going through another "Gin Craze" like the one that popularised gin in the UK in the 18th century. It's rapidly becoming the Brits' fave spirit and sales greatly increased 📈 in 2017 over whisky and vodka, which remained flat (according to The Guardian! 📰). Apparently the Brits love a local gin with a good story and fresh approach behind it.
A not so obvious fact about the UK but something I've definitely noticed throughout the years 🕵🏻♂️ and hence why "gin" made it to my name on Insta 🤗
Does gin make you feel supersonic too? Do you have a favourite type? 🍸Cheers!
January. Atmospheric at best but mostly, misty, moody and damp. A bit of a non month if it hadn’t been for 2 inches of column space in the Sunday telegraph last weekend. A top ten list of gardening horts on @instagram
, two years of chasing light and the reason for permanently cold hands this winter.
Any guesses on how high up we actually are? We did this walk back in November and it was COLD on the cliffs! 💨 Don’t let the sunshine fool you.
