"I'm going to be a star. I'll do anything to get up there in bright lights. Anything." So says this starlet painted by Coby Whitmore for "Take Me to Hollywood," a story for November 21, 1953 Saturday Evening Post by Alec Rackowe. This work is the postcard for our June 5 auction of Illustration Art.

We are going to be listing some smaller items in the next few days. They are overtaking our home and I feel like purging. First item is this vintage iron magazine rack. This is one of the largest I have come across. I love how it looks like it has hairpin legs 😍 Dimensions are 20 3/4” tall by 16” wide and 8 1/2” deep. Priced at $35.
