Single leg machine steps up with blood flow restriction around thigh. I've found BFR to be a very effective way to maintain the lactic acid build up during training and maximize hypertrophy. Pump always as to be maintained. Pump chasing is and always will be the way to go when it comes to building muscle. You know it times to leave the gym when you start losing pump. Keep the rest time short, and reps moderate to high. Everybody wants big muscles but no one wants to withstand some PAIN. Train hard, make it burn, rest, recover , repeat. "The Romanian Deadlift" can be one of the more difficult movements to properly execute for folks who have a hard time hip-hinging properly. . Lately Iโ€™ve been seeing a lot of people making it a two part movement. They go from RDL to back extension. To perform this movement more effectively follow the tips below. . ๐Ÿ”นWhen performing this movement set-up with about a hip-width stance and toes pointing straight forward with the dumbbells to your sides . ๐Ÿ”นEnsure that before initiating the movement your joints are stacked so ribcage is down and glutes are squeezed. . ๐Ÿ”นBrace your core and initiate the movement by setting your hips straight back with a slight anterior pelvic tilt for additional hamstring tension, keeping your torso in a stationary position and going as far down as you can without any lumbar rounding so you donโ€™t lose the hamstring tension. Also, keep the load primarily distributed mid-foot with some slight knee bend to avoid falling back or tipping forward. Noteโ—๏ธWhen you lower the weight bring them out in front of you and back to the side when returning to the starting position. . Noteโ—๏ธkeep the load close to your body throughout the entirety of the movement. . Hope this is helpful to some of you outhere. Proper form and execution is vital to weight weight training safety for any movement, but your lower back is more susceptible to an injury if you lift mindlessly without paying attention to your form an execution so be aware of your capabilities with this movement. . Donโ€™t progress too quickly. If youโ€™re a beginner start with an empty barbell or PVC pipe. . Muscles worked: The Good Morning primarily targets the hamstrings with Glutes Maximus and adductor magnus as the synergistic muscles. You also get some erector spinae action since it the primary stabilizers with the obliques and rectus abdominis being the antagonist stabilizer. . Execution: 1. Place the appropriate weight across your upper back right on top of your rear delts. Think about a low bar squat placement. 2. Set your feet about shoulder width apart. 3. Brace your core but donโ€™t forget to breath normally. 4. Begin by driving your hips back until you feel the hamstrings stretch and then a little more while slightly bending knees but not to the point where you feel pain or discomfort. 5. Make sure to keep your back & Head in a neutral position not letting your back round forward or hyperextending your neck. 6. Return to starting position and repeat. . NOTE: Your flexibility across the posterior chain will play a role on how much of a stretch you can get. . Worked up to 156.5KGS/345LBS for a single today๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ”ฅ being sore as ๐Ÿ’ฉ from deadlifts yesterday and having to get up at 4:30am for work today didnโ€™t help much but Iโ€™m actually really proud of this. I was supposed to do heavy volume but @michiganshulk and I know that that doesnโ€™t happen on days that Iโ€™m tired and sore.
