I didn’t know much about breastfeeding when our journey began. I planned to try and if it didn’t work that was ok.
To this day, 8 months and one day in, I still feel that way. If it hadn’t worked, I know that‘s ok. To all the hardworking mamas out there, repeat after me: FED IS BEST.
That being said, there is this whole wealth of knowledge, motivation and support out there to help, whether you are just beginning or need help trying again. @littlepeachlondon @kindredbravely @witchgoddessmama
and many more... It’s not always black what is considered normal in this beautiful relationship and it’s no one else’s decision what or where or how long you do it for but yours and your babes.
A relationship, commitment and job that my body is doing all on its own and I am proud of it, especially as my boy continues to grow and thrive knowing I got him to this point with my #liquidgold
and hard work!
I don’t know how long I will continue to nurse my boy for. My goal went from try, to 6 months, to a year and now I am seeing that two years will go by all too quickly. I cherish ever moment that he needs me for a snuggle, a snack, a meal, a nap. You can’t spoil a baby with unconditional love and comfort. .
