1 marathon left to go and I’m done. Proper feeling it now. Time to refuel and get back on it!
18 miler - my favorite long run distance. Was looking forward to this run all week. I had a 75 min swim before the run. ----------
Today my goal was to run by feel for the first part of the run ( post swim my heart rate is always elevated) and run faster in the second half and finish strong. My heart rate was elevated ( in orange zone at 9:30 pace) in the first 7 miles, so I took it easy and as it dropped after mile 7 I started to speed up a little and finished strong. ----------
I had more miles in me after I finished and that is how I like to feel after a long run. Now time to recovery: eat, roll, stretch, then volunteer at the Ronald House and prep for a long bike ride tomorrow. Happy Saturday all!

A rather chilly 10 minutes in my state of the art ice bath this morning 🛀 .
It was not very pleasant or enjoyable but apparently it should make me faster and I’ll do anything for that 💪🏻 also got in a decent run session this morning which is good. Very early bike tomorrow!
