Does anyone else remember what it felt like when they were first starting their fitness journey? Feeling awkward at the gym. Not quite sure what exercises to do for each body part. Hunting and pecking on each piece of equipment? While I love the fact that I can go into the gym and know what I'm doing, I kinda miss the days where going to the gym was like starting a new relationship. The nervousness. The excitement. The constant learning about what works and what's garbage. And finally.... the beginning of a lifelong, healthy addiction. I think that's why I get the biggest smile on my face when I see people who are just starting out. I know what thrills they have to look forward to, and I'm slightly envious! That being said, there are always new things to learn about fitness and proper eating habits. Keto Teriyaki Chicken...low carb, soy free, sugar free and organic. Serve with rice for higher carbs or veggies for lower carbs. + Ingredients: 7 tbsp organic coconut aminos 4 tbsp organic olive oil or organic coconut oil 1 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp organic garlic powder 1 tbsp organic ginger powder Sea salt and pepper to taste 3-5 drops liquid stevia (optional) 2 organic chicken breasts Instructions: Prepare the marinade by mixing the aminos, olive oil, vinegar, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper, stevia. Marinade chicken in fridge for at least 4 hours. I’m finding the light these days. In more ways than one... 📷💫 😂 • • Recently I’ve been feeling some kind of connection and pull to something more spiritual. I’ve never been religious or believed in any “higher power” or anything like that. But when diving deep into yourself these thoughts start to arise about purpose and the meaning of you. • • Just phoning it in during the week isn’t really enough. I want to live a life filled with meaning and connection EVERY day. And every day I post on here I get that. It’s weird to say that social media has given me a lot of joy and purpose. A platform where you post a picture and people “like” it. It seems shallow but when stripped down it’s just another means of communication. It’s just another way to connect with people. Which is what we all want right? • • And that’s what really matters to me. Yeah it’s easy to get caught up in likes and how many followers you have. It’s a real thing, and I try to stay focused on the real intention but it can be hard sometimes. But in the end if I can positively effect one person with this then that’s amazing and so worth it. • • I’m not saying I’m doing groundbreaking work and making miracles over here🙃 but I feel like this is the start of something real for me. It’s proved to me that I can affect other people, that I do have a voice and that I can do something REAL. What that is exactly, still remains to be seen...🧐 • • What I’m really trying to say is that by sharing more of myself it’s allowed me to see what value I do have to offer. Before, I never really thought I had that much to offer and was just an average dude scraping by. But EVERYONE has something to offer and some value to give back to the world. Back day at Crunch! Couldn’t find a high row machine so just grabbed the machine like Gethins on a lat Pulldown machine other than that everything else was the same,all those rows fatigued my upper and lower back for sure! Did some farmer carries afterwards warmed up with 45s on each side then did 3 set with 2 45s on each side added the 25s and tried to see if I could hold it for a minute,didn’t even make it to 30 seconds, no biggie there is no failure in trying! I have lost 62% of my overall bodyweight and all of my excess. I've gone from 432lbs (30st 12lbs / 196KG) to 165 lbs (11st 11lbs / 74.8KG) and I've been maintaining this weight (fluctuating within 3-5lbs either side) for the past 3 months. I'm fine with not losing anymore. I've got to my goal. I am 22% Bodyfat. 2 Visceral fat. I can run 10K or more. I can walk for miles. I can deadlift more than my bodyweight. This is a pic from about a week ago. I haven’t been to the gym since I did my fitness test last Thursday. I’ve been trying to relax my knee b/c I hurt it jumping, figure out what’s going on with my hip, get over an ear infection, and try to rest my mind. This week I don’t have any money to leave the house until Thursday, and I can’t help but beat myself up about it because I need to be in the gym working on every aspect of my game and fitness and I feel stuck. 🤯 After taking my fitness test last week for basketball, I did way better than I thought but I wanted to be better. I say that but I’m not in the gym this week and haven’t been as consistent as I’ve wanted to be. I have time to get ready but I feel like I’m not doing enough in the time I have with all the things stacked against me. Mentally I’m still trying to get out of whatever this is. I feel like the things I went through in February and March derailed so much for me & I’m still trying to recover. I should be much farther along by now. Then I got a job, exhausted all of my finances going to work, not being able to eat the way I want because of it, or stick to a solid gym schedule so I’ve been making things work the best I can. I don’t have my trainer anymore to work on my game and that’s discouraged me a lot because I just want to be as great as I know I can be. 😫 I feel like I should be doing more. I should go outside and run sprints, workout with my dumbbell set, there should be no excuse whatsoever. It’s go time. I physically feel like crap but I can’t stop myself from thinking I should do more and I don’t know. Something has to work and click soon.

I see people say they grind so hard to prove others wrong. If this philosophy works for you, and gives you the drive to embrace the effort and time to better yourself, then by all means follow it. I take a different approach. I don't do anything to prove someone else wrong, I do to prove myself RIGHT. No matter how much weight we can lift, no matter how fast we can run or how high we can jump, the mind needs to be the strongest part of the body. . I truly believe ANYONE can accomplish ANYTHING if the mind is set on doing so. I also know that anyone can FAIL if the mind is not in the right place. Regardless of your philosophical approach, a strong mind is key to unlocking potential. No matter our state of being right now, we ALL HAVE POTENTIAL. . I feel as though I am just beginning to tap into mine. I know there's still a ton to be unlocked🔓. I know that I have to keep my mind strong enough to become the master key🔑 I need to gain access. I know everyone can become their own keymaker. Once we have that master key, no doors can remained locked on us. That opens up infinite potential for EVERY SINGLE PERSON, regardless of the situation. @transformyouchallenge half way point 👇🏼 Working #pipehitter in with tri-style training. Along with working 12-14 hour days Lately without a break it can be a struggle to get both in. Some days I have to push Pipehitter back and focus on my endurance so at the moment I’m a little behind and on day 28. - Progress pictures mean so much more to me these days because it has absolutely no weight on how I feel about myself and my progress. I do what I need to do in the kitchen and in the gym. Lately mine has been hot dogs... odd, I know but it’s what I crave daily. Before that it was donuts and before that it was muffins. You don’t necessarily have to remove these hot dogs from your diet because they’re “unhealthy.” You have to remember that “healthy” and “fat loss” aren’t synonymous. Sure you can fit “healthy” foods into your diet plan to lose body fat but you can lose body fat with “unhealthy” food as well. Today's workout was more pull ups, push ups, and a few shoulder exercises. I'm incorporating pull ups into every strength and conditioning session I do. Really trying to focus on building up the strength I'll need to pull my self up and over the @spartanraceau obstacles. For anyone interested here the WORKOUT: -Chin up circuit 8 rounds 8 reps. -Bench press 20kg 3 rounds 10 reps. -Bench push ups 3 rounds 10 reps. -Push ups 3 rounds 20 reps. With 30 sec hold at the end of each round. -Clean and jerk 10kg 3 rounds 10 reps. -Front raises and press 15kg 3 rounds 10 reps. -20kg Ball throws 3 rounds 20 reps..
