This right here is literally how I was able to really stop taking things personally & be compassionate in all of my interactions with other humans. When you are able to fully understand that everyone is just a child, still working through their same wounds, only played out on different sets throughout the map of time, & totally unaware in most cases. This is what 10 weeks of dedication, eating clean, working out 5-7 days a week with some of the BEST personal trainers looks like!
Start: 175.5 lbs
Finish: 171.2 lbs
Loss: 4.3 lbs
Gain: 7 lbs
Loss: 11.15 lbs

Did I have my doubts? Did it hurt? Did I want to cheat? Did I want to give up? Did I want to stay in bed? Not eating a lot of food BUT not losing any weight?
This is something that can crop up a lot for many coaches out there when dealing with clients!
Are you sitting there saying "yes this happens to me every week"
Then if you are then please keep reading as I'm about to explain to you why this might be happening to you on your fat loss journey.
So you might think your eating 1000-1100 calories per day (even though you don't track your food for a start) Monday - Friday and then just consume what the hell you want at the weekend because its the weekend and weekends don't count. Right?
Being in a energy (calorie) deficit is what you need to be in when looking to drop body fat. So eating 1100 calories per day for 5 days is definitely a calorie deficit until the weekend comes and you consume a hell of a lot of calories each day (potentially 5000 or more) through calorie dense foods. Which in result of weekends like this will end up putting you out of your deficit and into a surplus (what we need to be in when looking to gain weight).
My solution to you would be: why not balance your calories out better and be more consistent when hitting your calories as it is far more sustainable to stick to and will keep you on track for longer when looking to reach your goal/target.
If you don't track your calories then I would advise you to start tracking them as soon as you can, so that you can get a more realistic figure of how many calories you are actually consuming as you will tend to find that when not tracking you will forget about certain things you consumed and not count them at all. Which again could also be one of the reasons your not losing any weight/fat.
So be smart when it comes to fat loss as it can be a tricky thing to get your head round as you probably have tried for years and years to lose weight and nothings ever happened. Well lets make that time when fat loss does happen NOW.

💭The two biggest contributors to my progress: 1️⃣proper nutrition & 2️⃣proper weight training
💭In 2012 I had lost a bunch of weight (in an unhealthy way🙁 Bc I was uneducated) and then when that lifestyle was no longer sustainable (way too low calorie) I gained it all back (plus some!)😩😫😱 I found myself weighing more than I had when I started. I was feeling defeated, embarrassed, and tired or the whole "fitness" thing. 😞I needed to learn how to eat properly and weight train instead of looking for quick fixes☝🏼🙏🏼🔥
💭In 2014, I had begun to track my macros & practice flexible dieting🎉🎉🎉🎉. I found great success, lost the weight I had gained, and was feeling confident again(woo hoo...) but I didn't know how to eat at maintenance so I just kept losing weight (I thought you were either losing, or gaining.. no in between) on top of that I was MAJORLY stressed out, in my last year of college, and working 2 jobs😰😰I needed to chill out with the cardio, & eat even more food when I reached my goal weight instead of plummeting below that number. I was tired all the time, and no one liked me better bc I had a flatter tummy or skinnier legs☝🏼
💭Now (and for the past 3 years) I HAVE LEARNED 📖SO MUCH ABOUT WEIGHT TRAINING & PROPER NUTRITION. I am a healthy weight & Its easy for me to maintain. ☺️☺️☺️and I'm HAPPY! woo!! 🎉I found the perfect balance between working toward your goals, maintaining a healthy body and MIND, not missing out on my social life because of my "diet" or gym needs, and having FUN with my workouts! 💪🏼😁I eat foods I enjoy, I don't binge on junk food, but I also don't overly-restrict myself! 🥗🍪I workout 5-6x per week bc I LIKE IT, I have strong legs and a strong booty🍑!...

Crop Top AND Shorts?......who am I??🤔
What once was a major struggle for me, as you can see when you swipe➡️, has now become something I am no longer afraid of doing. Before I started competing (even when I was already losing weight and looking good), I NEVER wore a crop top or shorts. My stomach and legs have been the two most difficult body parts to show off, mostly just because I felt uncomfortable🙈. So I know how you feel when you see other girls walking around rocking this outfit and you're wishing you could do the same.
It took me the better part of competing to begin to wear regular shorts in public, and only as of this past year to start wearing crops. I had a decision to make when this summer came, because I knew it was going to be a hot one. It was either: 1) I sweat my ass off in tshirts & Jeans because I worry how many people would stare at my stomach and thick thighs or 2) I step out of my comfort zone and rock that combo together because I love how they look.
For too long I let what others might think of me, deter me from doing what I really wanted. All I had to do was decide to not care about them, and put a little effort into making it come together nicely so it fit my body the way it was. The truth is, you're never going to know how you feel wearing something until you put it on. Pick your proper size, wear the right undergarments and BAM - you'll have yourself a pretty great ensemble that you can confidently walk down the street in🙌
✔YEP I still have cellulite.
✔YEP I have stretch marks too.
✔YEA my stomach is a little fluffy right now. But I really dont give a fuck, because I like this outfit😜🤷♀️ So stare away if you must, imma keep doing me💁♀️
