If snowflakes were kisses I’d send you a blizzard 😚
and I rented a car from @hertz
and have been cruising through Sweden and Switzerland. Having a car really makes all the difference because it allows you to go a lil rogue now and then. Plus, you have an infinite amount of ‘pull over now’ moments like this suspension bridge just outside of Adelboden.
I can't describe how much I love winter, skiing and 📷sunsets. All three things give me so much energy and power. I'm always so stoked for the next winter adventure 🤙
Each country I’ve visited develops a sort of catch phrase in my mind, a term or sentence I hear so much that I subconsciously begin to identify it with the local culture. In Vietnam it was, “Where you from??” In Thailand it was, “...my friend!!” Before I got to India I mused that maybe it would be something like, “Namaste”... No, it was, “SELFIEEEEEE” complete with a head bobble!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #whereyoufrom #myfriend #selfie
Don't follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

If you’re in the market for antlers, I know a guy. (He sized me up as a vegetarian pretty quickly and promised the majority of these were shed naturally in the spring as the animal grows a new set...Either way, I love meeting new people when I travel, even if their ways of being in the world differ greatly from my own. His smile and willingness to let me take his photo, even though it made him uncomfortable, made my day.)
is not as old as some castles but it is one of the best I have visited. You will be amazed when you stroll through all the room, do not miss this place. .

My experience @hotelyountville
+ recent trip to Yountville is posted! Highly suggest reading while drinking a glass of Cabernet & booking a flight at the same time. Kidding but not really.... I've been known to book trips after a glass or two. Anyone else? 😂🤷🏼♀️🍷
The train ride between Kandy and Ella is supposed to be one of the most beautiful in the world. It definitely is but when you don‘t book your seat a few month in advance you have to stand for the whole ride and squeeze in with far too many people. If you‘re unlucky you even can‘t see anything of the beautiful landscape.
Here‘s my tip:
If you haven‘t booked in advance and it’s too crowded you could still ride the train from Ella to Badulla. We had a whole compartment to ourselves and also crossed the famous Nine Arches Bridge.
I found the cutest little Parisian bistro! The doors and window trim are the same color as the new front door at my house 😍
I need something new to watch (Amazon, Netflix or HBO preferably). I just blazed through everything that was in my queue. What are some shows you really liked? Reality TV need not apply, LOL!
Does anyone else have an issue with glasses in the winter?! So I packed my contacts for my winter camping trip, because covering my face with my buff means I fog up my glasses. But I ended up ripping the contacts, so I had to wear my glasses.
But about a minute into the hike, I had to take off my glasses, leaving me with a depth perception problem.
Does anyone out there have a fix for glasses fogging up?! Or will I have to learn magic? *
This is a lookout point over Silent Lake Provincial Park in Ontario Canada.
3,000 hand-blown pieces of glass in this centerpiece, not that I counted.
Low and behold the mighty schnitzel at @oma_kleinmann
🇩🇪 🍽 The 📷 doesn’t do justice as to the sheer size of these mighty meaty feasts.
