Thinking back to my fave campfire breakfast: biscuits and sausage and gravy. 🔥
Old photo from my 2012 bike tour across Eastern Europe.
This photo shows where I camped on my first night in Romania. After crossing the border from Bulgaria and a full day of cycling, I pitched my tent in the forest just a short distance outside a small town. As soon as my tent was up, it started raining... and it didn't stop for almost 24 hours.
It was a rough introduction to Romania - a place that has since become one of my favorite bicycle touring destinations in the world.
Finding someone that loves the same craziness as you, will let you talk them in to anything, and has a heart of gold is rare. But I found it. She lives directly across the street and puts up with my madness. She let's me push her further and harder than she wants to go. She is my soul sister. #butdidyoudie
Capitol Reef National Park was such a beautiful place and a great first tent-camping experience for Matthew. We had a fantastic campsite with tons of open space for the kids to play. They ran, rode bikes, and even had their own after-dark-glow-stick-rave. Deer walked through our campsite both evenings too. We hiked the Capitol Gorge and Sunset Point Trails. There were lots of fun rocks to climb, s'mores to eat, and dirt to play in. Thank you Shanti for organizing such a fun weekend. My boys are already asking when we can camp again with all of their @hikeitbaby
Love our Oztent 30 Second tent with the peaked side panels zipped onto the awning😍 we have our kitchen set up already and look how much room we still have for hangin out 🏕👊😎
WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH ALL THAT ROOM? COMMENT
First family camping trip and we know we will be caught in the rain 😍 ☔️ 🌧 (sooo romantic 😆♥️🙈🤪) I’m sooo excited- this is my kind of weather- overcast and rainy! .
don’t worry- My northwest camping experiences have taught me well- my dad was named “tarp king” so in preparation- we are bringing a ton of tarps 👌🏼 and I’m confident all our YouTube watching will help 😆😂 right @jarrod_pace

Grateful to meet Rodrigo (In the mix of Cyclists) in Santo Domingo. He gave us a wonderful back yard that had mango trees scattered everywhere. In which he told us upon arriving that you can eat as many mangos as you like. His family feed us delicious Mexican meals which left us full afterwards. Great appreciation for the gratitude from his family. Just an amazing bunch of people. Also, big fans of Canada! 🇨🇦🚴
Sometimes it takes me 1 month in camp to get burnt out, sometimes it takes 3 months to. Sometimes it takes 1 day on the couch before I can’t sit still, sometimes it takes 3. #restless #tentcamping
Buying a tent was probably one of the best investments I’ve made. Especially in California! Desert last week... forest this weekend. Does anyone else love to camp?!
