Moderate Volume: Because you’re new to training and are hyper-sensitive to the stimulus, you don’t have to annihilate each muscle group with insane amounts of volume. A few sets for each muscle group per day will be more than enough to produce growth (this is especially true with adequate frequency). _ 2. Frequency: We want to ensure we’re hitting each muscle-group twice per week if we want to maximize growth. This has been shown to produce more growth than training each muscle once per week even when volume is equal. Not only that, but the more frequently you perform an exercise, the more efficient you become at that lift, making it far easier to progress. Also, thanks to the repeated Bout Effect, we know that training a muscle-group more frequently (to a degree) will allow us to recover much more efficiently. _ 3. Progressive Overload: When we introduce a stress to our muscle, our body is forced to adapt by building new muscle in the hopes that it will handle the same stress again in the future. From the outside there's so much mystery behind being a cop. . Unless someone out there knows one all they really know about them is what they see on tv or what they see in the news. . Which for the most part is awful. Bad corrupt cops on tv, and bad corrupt cops in the news or good cops in the news thrown into an exaggerated BS story. . We hide behind private profiles and in silence so this one way narrative continues on and on and on. . Because when something bad happens or someone sees an article about a bad cop or a bad cop on tv, there is nothing pushing back against it for people to see. No one gets to see the real US. . Hell, even if we die people assume another bad cop died and all they get is the academy graduation photo. . People aren't being shown or being told who we are, how we live, what we do outside of that uniform, when the badge comes off. . People ask me all the time why I share my life. They ask me why am I not afraid to let people in. Why I'm so honest and open to the world. . Because the world needs it, that's why. . It's worth the risk to me to show people that we have families, we love, we smile, we're goofy, we have opinions, we care about them and we hate the bad cops more than anyone. . Trust me, we do!
