With my birthday coming on Sunday, you tend to reflect a bit on the last year- and what a year! As well as achieveing a lot in work and challenges completed, I feel so much more content with me as a person and stronger than ever.
Sure I'm still learning, growing as a person and will always make mistakes, but am better at recognising + learning from them.
The main thing noted is how many less fucks I've started to give 🤷 I'm not one to look good in photos, especially when working my ass off😥 and even more so when your team mates are on your shoulder 💀.
Whether you're part of a team, racing or simply at the gym, who gives a crap if you look like a toad and covered in bruises?! Just pop your trophy up for the haters to look at instead 💁.

The first exercise is the toughest, in fact when my Personal trainer brought out the 100lb barbell for hip thrusts last week, I did not think I was going to be able to do it 🙅🏼♀️ .
Four sets of 25 reps with 100 lbs. In between sets I do 30 reps of bridges and then no pause into 30 reps of frog bridges and then back to the 100 lbs hip thrusts 😅 .
✨TRX lunge tip: Keep your chest elevated. If you can, have a spotter and challenge yourself to only hold their hand if you must. If you need the rod use it but keep a loose grip to limit the support it provides.
Going from boxing to spinning and more today. In this heat, the walk in between classes was a workout on its' own. •

Decided to try on workout clothes I can say I now can fit into a 1X. Ended up buying it in black but will go back to get the white one.
I have never been as excited as I was today when the scale said 289 😁. I wish it had said 287 so that I could say I had hit the -50lb but maybe by next week i’ll be there. You can really see the difference in the pictures. Changing your eating habits and adding exercise really works. I am so proud and glad I finally committed to my weightloss and stop making excuses. Week#17
I may get mad at my family but they don’t give up on me and push me to make the right decision and keep this going. Especially my brother, i hate when he tells me “be better” lol while I sneak a chocolate or two. On the plus side I have a Hot trainer (husband) so going to the gym with him is fun.
Doing squats does make a difference 😱. First picture was on Jan 18. I feel like my posture has gotten better and talk about a booty lift and a little more defined. Can’t wait to see the 30 day result.
Was not feeling myself today but still made it out to the gym. Did my 100 squats and cardio. I’m just leaving the gym and I feel better all the anger and frustration I left it in the Treadmill lol😃
