Stumbled across this photo this morning of me aged 22 in my first year of marriage. A rare photo of me without makeup as I was experiencing severe adult acne, and I went to every effort to hide it. With age comes wisdom and I look at this photo now knowing that my severe anxiety and poor diet were major contributors to my skin condition. To those people experiencing acne, I honestly feel your pain it becomes so incredibly consuming, that you feel the entire world is looking and judging you about your skin...they are not. Our outer layer of skin is simply reflecting what is happening internally, perhaps from diet or from an emotional in balance and yes they often go hand in hand. Poor diet creates anxiety, anxiety can lead to poor diet. My advice would be..
• Take the time to work out what is causing you to feel unsettled in your life, once you identify this there is always a way to make change. • Clean up your diet, avoid refined sugar at all costs it literally feeds the acne • Take a Zinc supplement and probiotics •Drink green tea, and plenty of vegetables particularly those with high antioxidants • AVOID ALCOHOL • Finds ways to introduce relaxation Yoga, Meditation, Walking, Swimming •EXERCISE is so important to lift your mood and get those happy hormones (endorphins pumping). Know this, you do have the power to make a change 😊🙏❤️

This little cake was a step away from the usual cakes we make here at the NY Cake Stylist.
The request was a tricky one; no sugar, no butter & gluten free! Nuts 🥜 & Eggs 🥚 were ok👌🏼 I searched high and low, and found what I thought would be the perfect recipe, with a little tweaking of my own. The results were this ‘Naked’ Almond Honey Cake with Peanut Butter frosting.

if you’re a dip lover, this is for you!
1/5 lb. ground beef
1 stick of cream cheese
3-4 can rotel
onion powder, salt, chili powder, whatever spices you like!
brown beef first with spices, then add the greene cheese and rotel. let it simmer for a couple minutes. use pork rinds to dip. 😍😍😍
