She's the author of The Low FODMAP Diet for Beginners. After struggling for years with GI issues she found the FODMAP diet and was able to change her life, symptoms, stress and all.
So what's a FODMAP? In a nut shell they are a type of carbohydrate that some peoples bodies don't process very well. Fermentable, Oligo, Di, Mono-saccharides, and Polyols. A few examples of High Fodmaps (foods to lose) are soft unripened cheeses cauliflower, onions, wheat, beans, lentils, apples just to name a few. There's a huge list of the highs and lows as well as 7 day plan to beat your bloat and tons of amazing delicious recipes. Even if you don't have any "serious issues" there are so many takeaways from this beautiful book that can help you live and feel better.
I've been on a quest for what feels like a long time to learn about food on a scientific and spiritual level. I don't know everything but I do know that we are all unique inside and out and you can totally heal yourself with food. 🤗💚
