I've had a really rough week when it comes to working out when my shoulder decided to give up last weekend and it's been hurting all week. Started to feel that I pushed myself a little too hard and my body started to complain in many different ways. Today I went back to the weights I was at weeks ago and I will start over again to get to the weights I'm "supposed" to be at. Failing over and over again is something I can't stand so this is something I'll do to be even more motivated to get to the gym! 🏋️♀️

[Gamerstrong] Happy Friday! It's going to be a long post for a long week, scroll on if it's not your jam, no shade from me for it. I have now learned thrice, that Instagram crashes with long posts. I hope the fourth time’s a charm. I traded my first cup for first bottle as I’m dying and it’s a balmy hot NC May afternoon. Friday started off catastrophically, I slept through my alarm till 10:30 and woke up in a panic knocking over my vape, my phone, and stubbing my toe on the dog stairs. I msg’d my Team lead who immediately calmed me down as he’s a legend like that. My guess is the poor sleep all week finally caught up and it was time to pay the piper.
My victories... This pasty sweaty motherfucker with jelly legs who can barely stand up with a rescue inhaler just out of shot is also the SOB who defeated the 235 SQ 5x5. That means I actually have to buy more weight for the bar. I bombed out on the 175 BP on 4x4 but it felt good to be able to lift the new weight as much as I did. I broke my weight loss plateau of 190lb, weigh in at 188.8lb before work out, next milestone is 180. I started at 228, I can’t tell you the net loss because it’s hard for me to track the muscle gain. It’s the difference between a tight 36 and a 32, and L shirts back to M. I find I miss the idea of bread, chocolate and fried potato more than the taste now. It definitely helps with keto.
The Battle of Green Pool has ended in total annihilation. The victims of the battle can be seen clearly at the bottom of the pool, along with a garden hoe… don’t ask, I have no idea. But once it is vacuumed swimming for recovery is happening.

Week 2 and I hit my first failing rep. Damn, that pissed me off so much that I needed to rage growl on the next set 😱 Body is unbalanced and mind is in a different place.
