I started personal training back in July as I had pains in my glutes when stretching. Two separate therapists said there was no injury but it may be that I had a lazy bum that doesn't fire when it should, so I was sent to @victoriabikini who specialises in building strong bums (and other things) it worked and my bum is getting a lot better, stronger and my active flexibility is helping. I also developed shoulder problems which she factored into my training so we do rehab and bum work. This week I learned of a new condition which she's told me she'll research to see if there's anything else we can add in. If that's not above and beyond I don't know what is. So the picture on the right was the first time I ever ran two back to back Spartan Races two days in a row. And man that was crazy fun. That was almost a year ago. The picture on the left was taken yesterday, and it was my first day of bartending ever. Literally, I was thrown into working a bar with not one clue about what I was doing. SUCCESS STORIES - Val "I love food! As a mother of 4 sons I'd happily cook big meals for the 5 men in my life & have an ample portion too. Calories consumed did not equate to calories burned - my weight increased year on year. I'd try one fad diet after another, finding myself bored, frustrated & heavier within months of giving up. Exercise was sporadic & limited by my mood & energy levels. Over 10-years I joined & wasted numerous gym memberships, starting my exercise programmes with great gusto but becoming bored quickly & defaulting to the cardio comfort of the cross trainer and bike. Trying to clean up my ohs, any suggestions please let me know! Currently my heels lift off ever so slightly even with a light weight, though shoulder mobility has improved.
