BREAKING NEWS: Two time NBA Champion Steph Curry left tonight's game with what has been diagnosed as a MCL injury. The injury accrued in the 3rd quarter when team mate Javel McGee tumbled into Curry's left knee after contesting a shot. Although the initial contact did not seem that significant to cause major injury Curry struggled leaving the floor to a point of concern.
Should the two time league MVP be out a significant amount of time it may damper the Warrior chance to repeat as playoffs are right around the corner. Curry may not be the best player in his team but he is most important, Curry is the piece that makes is all fit so perfectly. Curry's absence may breed doom for the Warriors but it also shouts opportunity for Western Conference foe Houston Rockets as well as Finals rival Cleavland Cavaliers.
More importantly than games and winning is health, we hope for the best for Steph Curry. We hope initial diagnosis will be the lesser of the probability and whatever it is we hope your back sooner than later.
