4x10 Plate Squats: these really help with keeping your core engaged and sitting back into your heels.
4x10 Forward Lunges : don’t let knees track over your toes.
4x12 Banded Monster Walks: getting fat side butt action. Make sure to pick your feet up and don’t drag them. Keep constant tension on the band. 🍑
4x12 Leg Extensions : I’ve never used a machine that rocked with you so this was interesting, don’t mind my struggle faces looking like a dying rat 🍅💦.
4x10 Hamstring Curls superset w/ SL Curls: i clearly wanted to torture myself and feel like my hamstrings were ripping from my butt. Keep shoulders pressed into the mat and bridge up then curl. 🍑
4x10 Pulse Squats w/ band 🍑
4x10 Bench Jump Squats •

I did this at the very end of my glute training day. I do these types of lighter weight exercises in ADDITION to my heavy weight staples! This type of work should never replace the absolute MUSTS: barbell hip thrusts, hip extensions, heavy medial exercises etc. I have all my glute training spelled out for you guys on my website 📝. I”m finishing up the sets of 8. The heat is huge and I can’t manage to do 8 in a row with good form. (Here’s the last 3 reps)⠀
It’s kinda fun to see 185 go from a big milestone to normal lifting to some high rep evil. When will that happen with 225?⠀
First week starting my new workout split. Weight training 4x a week (shoulders, back/bi, chest/tri, legs) and cardio 3x a week. Lately, I’ve oddly have not hated cardio. It’s a time where I don’t have to think as much. Just basically ‘keep moving your legs’ or ‘stride out’ if I’m running 😂 It’s almost a nice break. When you watch people workout for 6+ hours a day you need a change up😬😅
had a bomb leg day today that went a little like this:
- standard deadlifts
- walking weighted lunges
- quad curls
- hip abduction machine
I like to increase the weight for pretty much every set and not stick to a specific amount of reps for the last set but go till I’m close to failure and it feels really challenging!💥 Enjoying the sun by the seaside now 😍🍑 hope everyone is having an amazing summer 🌞 - C
