Most people make a mistake knowing whether their skin is dehydrated or dry!
They’re two different things,sometimes our skin isn’t dry but simply dehydrated.
What’s the meaning of dehydration?
Under special circumstances,the skin lipids may lose their sealing force.These special circumstances may be caused by damaging external factors like the weather or detergents.
When that happens,the skin simply becomes hydrated with the proper care and hydration,your skin will glow and feel comfortable again.
In the case of dry skin,the epidermis may lose the ability to protect itself.
But,both conditions feel the same.The only difference is that dry skin feels dry all over the body,not just in isolated places.It is also harder to heal dry skin than it is to hydrate it.
Test your skin and see if it is dehydrated or detached;
1.Take a piece of thin paper or a napkin and cross it over the middle of your face.
2.Do so at the end of the day,before washing off
3.Notice if there’s any oil on the napkin or if it’s wet,if you don’t get anything on the napkin,then chances are your skin is dry.
