As a 15th century Javanese-Hindu temple, Sukuh Temple is well-known for its thematic reliefs of life before birth and sexual education theme. Interestingly, one of the giant statues in Sukuh Temple has been removed and relocated to the National Museum of Indonesia. The Sukuh Temple is located in Berjo Village of Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. Specifically, the temple complex is located on the western slope of Mount Lawu at a height of approximately 900 meters above sea level.
