Staying consistent. Holding myself accountable. Pressing through when times get tough.
I have no doubt that most my mindset comes from years of being a police officer - 1.male dominated field
2.working the jail as a corrections officer
3. Drill instructor at the Sheriffs Bootcamp program
4. SWAT team
5. Mom and wife while juggling all those positions
Part of being on the team means you have to be ready. Your co-workers depend on YOU. Your physical ability, your mental ability.
I was told I couldn’t do certain things because I was a woman. I was determined to make teams under the men’s standards to make it impossible for them to tell me NO.
From being a handpicked deputy and The honor of being a Drill Instructor, to top of my class at police Academy, to being the 2nd Female to make the SWAT team.
Most think I’m just a girl who likes to lift weights.. and I am that.. but I’m also so much more. I didn’t get to the places I wanted to be because of “luck” or I knew someone at the top. It was work. I did the work. I was hungry for more. If there was a chance to be better, I wanted it. I didn’t talk about it, I did it.
The foundation which I built my character & self discipline from hasn’t swayed much. I stay true to what I do, because of my mindset.
Your body will give up as soon as your mind tells it to.
I see most give up and self destruct immediately .

Mindset : bullet proof your Brain. Train your brain to be better and stronger.
