Let’s talk about how we learn from Instagram. Who inspires us.
This is Molly. Everyone knows Molly, right? I met her in 2015 when I went on a @selfishmother
retreat. I'd just had my 3rd baby a year before that, and I'd never left my kids. I needed an escape. All I'd been doing for 4 solid years was relentlessly making/raising humans, and I felt lost, I wasn't eating and I was exhausted. I spent two days in the company of women that were all on similar paths, that were all needing guidance and a good ol’ chat and a cocktail. And Molly was there, (and @annikisommerville
too ❤️) gently nudging us all towards something new and exciting. It was then that I remembered that I was a writer; that I *am* a writer, despite feeling like I’d failed at everything. I left that weekend with the messy pile of puzzle pieces in my head sorted into neat little piles, finally. And the cherry on top was that I also made some beautiful friends.
Molly is forever hustling, and has now added Masterclasses to her repertoire, so I suggest you get your bum off your seat and sign up if you want to listen to someone who is funny, bold, kind, and incredibly badass. She didn't ask me to write this, she didn't have to (she has plenty of people following her journey). But I wanted to share this because she's one of those humans that helps people wake up. Life is about finding those people. Learning from them. And telling them they're rad, if you feel it to be true.
