You are mine"...lyrics that came to mind when I was praying and asking the Lord the meaning behind this piece. My Prayer Pastor confirmed this and expressed an even deeper meaning. She said that the second she saw it, she"saw" Jonah inside the whale repenting and God's watchful care over him. Such a wonderful story of repentance, God's keeping power, transformation, transition, God's forgiveness, God's rescue, and second chances!
I was inspired to start this piece after a recent missions trip to L.A. Some of the small sea shells are from Venice beach....a hard place to minister, but so was Nineveh, the city Jonah was called to be a missionary to.
