Top half of Fruits de Mer from Bacchanalia is like a Mermaid has gone nuts on Mardi Gras and gor a shit ton of specials tricket beads of the sea. 🤭 Nantucket scallops, marinated razor clams, steamed Maine lobster tail and a claw, trout belly tartare, halibut ceviche, monk fish liver torchon, and GA white shrimp shooters, all in one place. All perfect on its own, yet harmonious all together. 🙏
I will gladly eat this any day with a bottle of versatile Meursault 😆 or Champagne. 😁 I might be getting older, but compared to my few visits when I first settled in Atlanta 5 years ago, Bacchanalia appears youthful, sans white cloth + revamped stylish look. Irresistable classy attentative services, and most importantly, the delicious modern farm-to-table creations (that the portions are large enough to actually feed hungry souls). I am definitely coming back, just so I can find myself over the zen and proper Fruits de Mer. $80 for 2.
