Really enjoyed my experience with Elephant Nature Park and I am glad I went with this legitimate organization instead of sketchy ones. This is truly an experience I will never forget from Thailand. Elephants are such gentle creatures and it’s horrific to learn how much abuse they have had in the past and how humans are still engaging in this unethical practice of animal abuse. I hope to come back again! 🐘 💕 #stopanimalcruelty #savetheelephants #stopanimalabuse
Regrann from @dswt
, 2013: Kamok was just one day old when we rescued her. She was found by cattle herders, after the premature baby strode into one of their huts on unsteady feet. In fact, she was so small that the Ol Pejeta Conservancy Supervisor was able to carry her in his arms to the DSWT rescue plane!
Given how young she was when she was orphaned, Kamok’s survival has been a real triumph. Four years later, she is learning all the survival skills she’ll need to one day return to a life in the wild. To learn more about Kamok’s story, visit:

Once upon a time, a few heartless humans captured these animals from their homes & chained up them up & forced them into riding camps. They were beaten & broken just so tourists could go for a little joyride on their backs. Thankfully, there's more good people in this world than bad; ones who dedicated their lives to saving them and spent several million Thai baht to buy these mistreated elephants from the riding camps. They're brought to sanctuaries like these where they can roam the jungle freely & return when they're craving mud baths or bananas.
Hope I changed at least 1 person's mind on elephant riding!
Beautiful pose Elephantinoo 😘
Let them free to do what they want like we are free to to do what we want, don’t RIDE THEM!!!!!! You better go and practice some yoga... you will feel better 😉😇 #savetheelephants #yogaposes #yoga
Best photoshoot ever! Stay tuned for new sariKNOTsari arrivals on the website.
A couple of days before Mother's Day I received a package from the World Wildlife Fund that had a letter attached to the package that read - Enclosed... A special gift in your name. A surprise considering that, although I support the organization and receive e-mails from them, I had never received actual physical mail. Anyway... I opened it to find a little elephant stuffed toy and an envelope with a "Certificate of Adoption" that just had my jaw dropping. HOW DID THEY KNOW ABOUT MY OBSESSION WHO DID THIS WHO DO I THANK AND WHY ME!🤯 so I finally get to opening the letter (why I didn't do this first, I don't know), to find out that the gift was from my ever so thoughtful baby girl.
I've adored you from the start. I feel so fortunate to have found such a kindhearted, sweet, and thoughtful friend/ sister/ daughter in you. Thank you for your gift - you didn't have to but you did 💕 And for understanding and sharing in my obsession with elephants and the need to say hello to every dog that we see... You think of me and buy elephant stuff for me when you come across one in stores - you don't have to but you do. Your dance moves are life (another thing I've been fortunate enough to witness). Your sloth climbing hugs are life. Your ability to make me laugh to the point of tears even from 400 miles away is life. I love youuuu!❤👊🏻
Ps. Your dad was annoyed he didn't think of this as a gift for me but is proudly taking credit that you are his daughter, so apparently by proxy your gift is his gift too haha 😄 I thank him for bringing you into my life 😘
I’m a huge elephant lover. 💗🐘💗 So when I created this design I knew I wanted to use it to help raise money for elephant conservation. A portion of proceeds from the sale of this “Spring Elephant” design will benefit @savetheelephants
