Engagement de la chaîne postérieure, sur un tirage horizontal au sol sans appuis au niveau des pieds. Recrutement des muscles stabilisateurs optimisés avec ce type de mouvement, grand dorsal, rhomboïde, trapèze etc... . C’est un ressenti totalement différent que le tirage horizontal à la machine, le manque de stabilité et d’appuis vous obligera à garder le contrôle du début jusqu’à la fin du mouvement pour ne pas vous envoler mdr 😂. . I borrowed a heart rate monitor from the studio for my row class on Monday. . It's the first time I ever used one and now I'm hooked. . I'm a numbers person, so it motivates me more when I can see them and try to improve them in the next workout or even within a workout. . Our hearts can tell us so much about what is happening in our bodies and they can be great measurements to program progressions to cardio workouts. . There are three training zones when it comes to cardio. They are unique to each person and, even, change within each person over time or as fitness improves. . We all spend most of our time in zone one, regardless of our fitness goals and, while there are basic assessments we can use to define these zones, it would be nice to have a heart monitor to just define it for me. . I definitely know using a heart rate monitor would motivate me to up my cardio game because I will be able to see hard numbers and work to improve them. . So, do you use a heart rate monitor? If so, which one?

Tough #burpees #row pyramid this morning which I managed to mess up by putting an extra 5 burpees in going back. So sub 21 mins wasn’t bad. Think I finished in 20.23 but #hardwork very good fun though!

Grim and massively filtered after my workout session this morning. . . I've been off the radar due to a hectic work schedule and a cold that made me so so dizzy! HOWEVER. I went, I sweat, I conquered. 30 mins Box Fit circuits and 30 mins using all the machines that I was shown in my PT session on Wednesday. . . I earned enough points from classes, workouts and Pure life style classes to have a free PT session with our class leader. She showed me some things I wouldn't have thought to do and bits in the gym I was too self-conscious to use before like the squat bar and free weights section. . . #고관절과스퀏사이 최근 왼쪽 고관절에 통증이 발생함 어제 자기전 인터넷에 고관절 스트래칭 몇개 보면서 따라하고 잤더니 오늘 통증이 더 심해짐 ㅋㅋㅋ 오늘 스퀏 워밍업을 보폭과 무릎을 다양하게 하면서 불편하지 않은 자세를 찾기위해 노력했는데 무릎을 45도 정도 벌리는게 가장 통증이 없다ㄷㄷ (예전엔 벌리는게 더 불편했음) 무튼 오늘 고중량 한세트라 자세 바꾸는건 불가능하여 기존 자세로 메인셋 진행 #오늘의운동 1. 스퀏 150×4 3개하면 마니 한거라고 생각했는데 4개 성공 거울보고 하는게 습관되어서 거울에 비친 깊이가 풀이라 판단되면 바로 올라오는게 문제... 실제 풀이 아닌거 같은 느낌 2. 데드 115×4 120×4 125×4 왤케 무겁지... 넘 힘들었음 3. 점프스퀏 80×3×4 4.레그프레스 3셋

Second exercise I did yesterday for my back workout. Instead of doing the usual seated cable row, do it using one arm at a time, and do it in a controlled manner. Using a lighter weight, focus on just using your lats and driving your elbow as far back as you can, without swaying your body.
