is over, but its legacy lives on through our players, support crew, the children we worked with, the communities whom embraced us, the guides who looked after us, our partners and sponsors and the lives we touched worldwide. Hear some of the stories here.
“First of all I would like to thank the EPF team very very much - again, they gave me an opportunity. I found many changes from Tanzania, because there it was quite difficult, but we overcame those difficulties by laughing, dancing or by singing songs. I was all alone in Tanzania but still I wasn't deprived of anything, everyone loved me so much. It is because of that love that I could not leave my EPF family. I was invited to Maldives, but I declined the offer and chose to join EPF #JordanQuest
instead. I am here today because of EPF's love. I keep counting days thinking when will this kind of opportunity come again.
EPF team has done a thing that even boys haven’t done and shown that girls can do anything. There is nothing girls can't do. This is a lesson I have learnt and I also teach this in my village.
I have met wonderful players. They are such big names in FIFA. If I hadn't played football I would have never reached where I have today. I would not be known to anyone. Football is everything to me because if I hadn't played football I wouldn't have learnt anything, I wouldn't have known any good footballers, no one would recognize me. Today I feel like football has come to me like God.
I saw a lot of changes in Jordan because we got a chance to teach children. I am very happy because my mom and brother didn't allow me to play as a child. I am very happy to have got the opportunity to teach children at Jordan. I am unhappy in terms of getting to express myself, because I don’t know English, but the love that they gave us was a lot and it binded us together.
We were all one family. EPF, Police, Media or Medical - we loved one another equally. If anything happened to anyone, everyone was there to help. There was so much love in the team. At last, from my side 🙏🏻, Love You EPF ⚽."
