2015 Woodlands Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
Nice wine at a great price point ($25). As expected, it doesn’t hit the highs of the other wines in Woodlands range, but... Classic Cab flavours all present: dark berry, chocolate and mint with dusty finish of good length. Rich but not heavy.

If not, you simply must... renowned for the driest Rieslings in the world, producer of some of the best reds in the world and surprise surprise makes world class chardonnay. A tiny region just 90mins north of Adelaide in South Australia.
The food is great and the locals are some of the most hospitable people on planet earth.

2016 Cabernet Sauvignon from here in Victoria. Thanks so much for the #sample
In the glass it’s a garnet colour with a lovely bouquet of fresh berries, new leather and anise lollies. In the mouth it has a super smooth texture with blackberries dipped in dark chocolate and a hint of soft coffee notes. Mmmmmm....
