good morning!! today I had an appointment with the mental doctor and they did not weigh me down 😰 I was very scared about that, but tomorrow I have a psychologist and I may be weighed that day 😅😅 They said that I improved a little during this time, and that I should increase my calories, which scares me a little and I have to eat 6 times a day 😱😱 please support me 😊😊 today I had little time for breakfast so I had yogurt with a little cereal and a cup of cappuccino, but I could not take it because it was not enough 😓😓 after the appointment with my doctor, I took courage and had #morningsnack
2 chocolate "frac" cookies and a cup of vanilla capuccino. Remember that living is the best! we were losing so many delicious things 😥😥 please keep fighting, to have a nice body, pink cheeks, beautiful hair, a couple, a happy family, there are many things that can motivate you 💕💕 stop following pages of girls with eating disorders that do nothing to heal themselves, they will make you depressed and that's what I least want for you 💞💞 please, eat well and delicious, do not worry about what you eat, worry when your package of cookies is empty and, you should go buy more 😰😰 hahaha, that was, I hope to have them motivated and make them feel better, that you have a good day 😎😎

My body image insecurities started very young. Between the abuse I endured and the 6 sisters to compare to + no guidance for how to love who I was, I fell into one mindset after another that set me up for destructive behavior.
Often times we do our best to morph our bodies and faces into what we believe looks “better”. This idea that to wear a bra, paint the face, and heighten the body to elongate the legs to seem more attractive or confident is not supportive of positive evolution, much less personal development.
Yet, just about all of us sign up for this daily life.
It took me losing my dad to shatter this part of my ego, completely, so that I may see which pieces still work for me — and which do not anymore.
Life is so different for me, now. My beautiful soulmate and me believe I actually look better with #nomakeup
or heals - and he certainly doesn’t mind #nobra
But whats more important than my partner’s love of this body, this vessel, is the acceptance of who I am as a whole 🙌🏻🤲🏻👐🏻
Everyday I continue to work towards the love of this vessel that pains me & limits me - so as to teach me how to evolve my mind and soul.
I question what is feminine & masculine and learn the true balancing of energies through struggle and personal knowing.
And I take leaps.
Leaps of hope towards “what is possible” for this life, this vessel, this being to manifest into creation🙏🏻 —————————————————

We are STUCK in the airport.
Yesterday our flight was been delayed several times, cancelled, rescheduled for 8am this morning and now delayed again for later today.
I miss my dogs, I want to work (and workout) and I am just READY TO BE HOME.
Although this weekend was AMAZING, this situation is making me very stressed and anxious.
This is seriously the PERFECT opportunity to break out my favorite ANXIETY & STRESS relieving technique 478 Breathing!
Here's how to do it
If time and space permits, the following exercise is best done when you are able to sit and relax in a quiet place, but it can be done ANYWHERE!
Sit upright with a straight back.
Place the tip of your tongue against the ridge of tissue just behind your upper front teeth, and keep it there through the entire exercise.
Exhale completely through your mouth, allowing it to be audible (don’t be shy).
Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of four.
Hold your breath for a count of seven.
Exhale completely out of your mouth, giving it sound to a count of eight.
This is one breath. Now inhale again and repeat the cycle three more times for a total of four breaths.
Note: always inhale quietly through your nose and exhale audibly through your mouth. The amount of time you spend on each phase is not important; the ratio of 4:7:8 is what matters. If you have trouble holding your breath, speed the exercise up but keep to the ratio of 4:7:8 for the three steps. With practice you can slow it all down and get used breathing more deeply.

. 🤳I literally walk by this playground EVERY MORNING. I’ve seen it out of the side of my eye as I walk past but I guess I never really SAW it. I didn’t even notice the BEST part of this awesome little playground. 👀

Hiking gives me so much more than a chance to be outdoors, it gives me confidence, peace, and a sense of accomplishment. Section hiking the AT is so amazing, I used to feel bad that I wasn’t thru-hiking, that I wasn’t good enough, but that’s another thing I love about it, It’s so individualized and in the end I’m still hiking and I still want accomplish the same amount of miles, it’ll just a take a bit longer 💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️☺️☺️

This weekend I focused on my social health by spending time with my sister and cousins enjoying a comedy show, the Florida sun, and a whole lot of laughing and dancing in between. ⠀
When I returned home, I was eager to spend time with my daughter and husband. However, I also took time to cook a few staple items in bulk and create a schedule of the gym classes I wanted to try out. Not to mention, I went to bed a little earlier to ensure a good night’s rest. ⠀
Focusing on the little things you can do to support your physical, mental, and emotional health during the weekend, can help strengthen your mindful and healthful intentions throughout the week, particularly around your nourishment and movement. After all, a weekend well-spent, is Monday full of content. Wouldn’t you agree??⠀

My lunches are usually a mishmash of stuff or very simple (such as the classic pb sandwich with chips and fruit!).😂 There is no in-between.
Recovery tip 2: make yourself accountable. Recovery is hard and it’s even harder alone. I am so very grateful that I get to witness this little brood make their way down our canal. In the beginning, momma has about 12 chicks chirping and paddling by her side. Within weeks, her little peeps dwindle down to just a few. And then, silence. And then the saying pops into my head, “Let nature takes its course.” I never really understood that; however, when I witness this I know that this is the circle of life right before my eyes. 🦆🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥
