Well that’s almost it ... I am getting ready to@drink
the next to the last step in my metabolism reboot... and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I had imagined it could be... clean slate for this girls metabolism!!!
Today I completed my 3 day liquid fast going over the set time of 72 hours reaching a total of 84 hours!! I’m actually amazed I made it this far! No exogenous ketones this time! just water, tea and black coffee! This has been the longest fast I have done 🙋🏼♀️ I feel incredible, flooding with energy and mental clarity - my brain is on 🔥 I did not find myself struggling to progress with my daily routine and exercise, if anything the total opposite. I got up each morning feeling lighter and more revitalised. 🙋🏼♀️✨
(What I need to implement next time is calming tea before bed as I found it quite hard to shut my mind down.)
There is a big misconception amongst many that fasting is to ‘starve the body’ when matter of a fact; you give your body the time to cleanse, reboot and heal itself and when you next consume a nutritious meal after the completion of a fast the nutrients from food has a better chance to absorb into the blood stream instead of dumping on top of accumulated waste. Prolonged periods with no food for us to break down allows the body to conserve more energy and allocate that energy towards healing our bodies on a deep cellular level while boosting our human growth hormone, strengthening our immunity and metabolism as well as helping to eliminate the waste, toxins and nasties.✨
I did my research in advance with how I should break my fast, preparation is key before we grab our hands on anything! Don’t go reaching for that donut or pizza!We want the best source of nutrients which is easy to digest, allowing our digestive system enough time to adjust back to normal while increasing the level of enzymes. My choice came to celery juice with half a lemon and ginger and blueberries. Celery juice helps to alkalise the body and lemon in fact turns alkaline when we ingest it! Fasting does require discipline but gives us willpower, it helps us to be more consciously aware of our eating habits and temptations, learning to have more control over the mind. I’m considering to make a three day fast a monthly habit. I can definitely say I have a greater appreciation for food after the past few days! 💚
note: my next step is to become more eco friendly💚
Sometimes to be our best selves we have to take time to reboot.
Just like electronics start working better, faster or just properly after being disconnect, sometimes we too have to unplug.
In theory, this is easier said then done because most of us can’t take time off even when we are taking time off. What I mean is, our brains are on constant overload and we fail to quiet our thoughts even just for a little bit.
Think about it...how many times have you gotten more stressed out thinking of all the things you could have done while you were relaxing??
I’m here to tell you it get easier. Make time for yourself, take time to unplug from the world. It’ll leave you recharged and it’ll give you a better perspective on things. Don’t just hustle, align✨

Grrr. Have ants in my pants. I take every July off with family. This year, Croatia. .
We rent out our house, see grandparents and unplug. This is year 5 doing this. .
It makes me a better clinician, for sure. People assume I cant unplug bc I am the ever-ready- bunny but no, I can. Sitting by the beach, swimming in the sea, playing many hands of Uno, reading a cheesey novel ( send me recommendations please. Cheesier the better.) .
Until then, excited to be interviewing some of my heroes for the Sidewalk Talk Listener training before I go on and working with an organization to put together a connection experience for them. .
Kind of clearing the decks. .

I’m down to the final few hours of my 60 Hour Keto Reboot! And the majority of those hours will be me 💤😴... sound asleep! 🤣😂 I think this will be the best 4:00 a.m. I’ve ever landed eyes on come tomorrow! 🤣😂 I’m excited to eat a real dinner with my husband and children again! Ha!
I’ve never done any kind of metabolism reboot in my life, so it’s been an experiment! But it’s been super interesting to learn how the body shifts and changes for the BETTER during the 60 hours through the support and accountability group with all of the doctors, coaches, and scientists that developed the Reboot.
I’m about to head to bed now and we’ll see how refreshed I’m feeling in the morning after my 60 hours are DONE!👊🙌💥

3. Take a step back, find inspiration through home décor magazines or Pinterest and visualize the ideal look for that room.
4. Take your time – you don’t just want to job done, you want the job done right!
