A few seconds of Ankita's life in her room.
It feels really nice when literature finally starts making sense to us, when we start living it.
The title of this series is A Room of One's Own. Virginia Woolf's essay of the same name has given us an insight on why the society lacks in women writers. She blames lack of privacy and poverty for it. Woolf believes that a woman must have 500 pounds a year and a room of her own if she is to write creatively.
I documented Ankita, a literature student of Delhi University, and her room with a few things she has in it. I have never seen someone as comfortable as they are in their rooms.
If only Woolf could come across Ankita, she would have been so proud of her success.
