👉🏻Imaging findings rarely relate to pain. 👉🏻If you were told "you have arthritis" "its bone on bone". 🤓this is NOT the Be all, end all....you can work with this, you can get healthier and stronger. This doesn't mean surgery is in your future! 🔑Let's get your joint healthier👊🏻
Headed to a bridal shower with a pasta lunch, so I’m inhaling some peanut butter fat bomb fluff before I leave. Oh keto gods, bless me with the strength to resist homemade ravioli 🙌
These ladies have become my family.
We are from all over the USA, from all walks of life and we all have different stories.
One thing we all have in common is that we don’t want to be mediocre. We were sick and tired of being sick and tired of our lives and we wanted to make a change. So we did it.
My story began with a life that controlled me. I have psoriatic arthritis and it ruled my life. I remember how exhausted I felt all the time and how I never felt ‘rested.’
I remember being sad all the time. I could never enjoy being around people and would LOOK FORWARD to going home to sleep because again, I was exhausted and I was hurting. (Sounds like a fun person to be around, right?!?)
After years of being controlled by my disease, having a miscarriage because I was on some crap medication and my body couldn’t sustain another human life, I decided to change. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.
4 years later I am here. In this place with my team. I am off all my medication. I have energy and as a #toddlermom
I need all that I can get! 🙌🏼
I am happy. My Psoriatic Arthritis is controlled by food and this company literally saved my life. I learned what to fuel my body with. I learned what kind of exercise my body needed. But what I didn’t except to gain was a family. These ladies are my family. I love each one of them. This is my journey and this is my truth. 🖤
So my question to you is this, are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Are you looking for a community that lifts you up and becomes a family? Are you ready to join me? We are waiting with arms wide open. Let’s do this life together! 😘

Battling chronic illness is a slow and steady marathon- not a race! There will be ups and downs, but ultimately, if you fuel your body with REAL food, practice self love, surround yourself with the right people, limit stress, engage in regular exercise - even if it is just easy stretching, you will keep moving forward towards a happier, healthier YOU! #autoimmunedisease

Bloods and bloods and after that some bloods 💉🆒
My rhododendron plant after the rain. More importantly... I'm candid and transparent about my health journey. I think that's how all practitioners should be.
About 2 months ago I had some random heart palpitations and elevated blood pressure with no explanation... A few friends said it may be due to the stress of finishing all the recordings for my Candida Summit (by the way, if you haven't already, register for it at candidasummit.com 🙂) I didn't think so, I had been taking adaptogenic herbs daily to help with that.
I thought something was off... So, I put together a custom blood panel and got the results... VERY high ferritin, an iron storage protein marker, that indicated inflammation.
After therapeutic phlebotomy, getting a dental cavitation surgery where the necrotic bone was ozonated and scooped out of my jaw (will do a podcast with my surgeon soon), along with the following protocol... -Ferritin down by 361 points
-Iron down by 96 points
-Iron saturation (very important) down 27 points in 2 months.
Side note: Reverse T3 also got back into range, but still a little high for my liking. Vitamin D was suboptimal which I'm working on.
Lab testing pictures are on my Facebook page.
My supplements used:
Biopure C3 - (1) softgel 2x per day
Liver Synergy - (4) capsules per day
Pure Omega - (2) softgels per day
Probio Sphere (1) per day
No more heart palpitations and blood pressure is 118/78!!! This is why my clinical philosophy will always be "if you don't test, you've guessed"
I am currently knee deep in building a functional medicine training course where I will share all of my protocols for gut health, thyroid, adrenals, etc... Inside of it, I will be showing dozens of case studies so you know how to run your own labs, interpret them, and make protocols to fix the issues you find on you and your clients.
I've taken many coaching/health courses and mine will be the best in terms of clinical application. You'll actually know what the hell you're supposed to do to help someone, unlike other courses and programs I've taken where you end up with a lot of "brain candy" and general information that you can regurgitate to your friends.
Nothing like a new pair of shoes to fuel the journey!
Let’s talk inner demons👹 shall we?
If I’m being honest one of my biggest hesitations when I first started coaching was that I worried 😧 so much about what others would think of me.
I struggle with how I think other people perceive me or how I will look 👀 to others. This has held me back a LOT in my life and has stopped me from going for things, or doing things that I want to do.
If I hadn’t of decided to push past that fear; I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I likely wouldn’t have lost 115 lbs, Nora wouldn’t have the mother that she deserves, and I certainly wouldn’t be standing up on stage in front of over 500+ people being recognized for losing over 100lbs.
Although I’m no where near done caring what about what others thing (I’m a work in progress 😉 ); I’ve realized that often fear is a sign that you NEED to do the thing that you’re fearful of; a sign that it WILL change your life.
Do the things that fuel your spirit instead of being consumed by the fear of doing 😘. .
After 5 days of working w hips that would barely move or bend ... even w narcotics ... my PCP decided I am in a #psoriaticarthritis
flare and put me on prednisone. :( I hate this drug so much ... it makes me angry and I say the things I usually just think and let pass...so thats been fun for everyone ;) it makes me hungry and I want allll the carbs!!! im out of town w my guys and they have their waffles and fruit loops and orange juice and tortilla shells and ritz-cracker-reese cup-smores and whatever carbs they want... its been really challenging plus my favorite muffin in the world is right down the road. :( ..
I feel a bit better on the medication...but then my period started a week early and I always have horrible back pain before that...and maybe a flare?? All this is new...i read that nightshades (bell peppers.tomatoes.hot peppers) is not good for me :( very confused.
Mentally its hard to continue eating for the goals I have when nothing seems to be working or helping and everything hurts. .but I'm staying strong and proud of myself ♡

Psoriatic Arthritis is marked by symptoms like joint pain and swelling. Research studies for potential new treatments could be an option! Learn more about how to get involved @ stctrials.com
A different kind of liquid lunch than I had over the holidays. I am still absolutely stuffed from breakfast, so I treated myself to a cold brew at the new cafe near my work instead of having lunch. I think next week I’ll go back to intermittent fasting through until noon, eating in the morning isn’t really my cup of tea. Besides, I like the social aspect of lunch time, and I got too many “why aren’t you eating????” comments from my pals. I ain’t hungry, kids! 🙄
It is not selfish to stand up or give yourself the things Hs that you need. Maybe that means eliminating things or people and maybe that means adding them. Whatever it is you are worth it. Find that balance and forget those that stand in your way!

It’s amazing to see what just a trim and some conditioner can do for your hair. Look at those curls! 😍 Also, life update, I went to a new rheumatologist and just got approved today to start Humira! I’m very excited to see how much it helps with my pain levels and hopefully it can help me be active again!

Breakfast burrito! This peppercorn goat cheese is giving me life.
It has arrived!
My Sonata breast pump (thanks mom)
Remember a few weeks ago when I had my lactation consultant consult... Well we have everything now to give it our best go considering my surgery!
My supportive family doctor even wrote me a domperidone script so I can fill it and use it on day 1 because it does take a few weeks for its full effect
Stay tuned to see how this journey intertwines with my wellness journey. Some do really well and don’t flair while breastfeeding and others do... only time will tell!
Now to wash and sterilize... and so it begins 🤨
📌Guess who’s MRI mission was completed on Wednesday?!🙋🏻♀️This empowered #chronicallykind
& extremely #grateful
THANK YOU ALL for your DMs, comments, prayers & sending positive vibes my way!! Means more than you’ll ever know or I’ll ever truly be able to express. Feeling extremely #blessed
First pic is my MRI fashion show... hospital gear at its finest!🙆🏻♀️
Next is afterwards w/ my very own Superhero, my hubs, Chris. 😍
Had a busy yet productive day yesterday; got in a relaxing 2 mile walk, met some more neighbors before the rain really came pouring down while Chris dealt w/ Kevin, the great rep from Hero roofing repairs & my parentals so I could do what I needed to. .
Found an awesome salon really close to home (after discussing w/ the hubs) got a REAL Keritan treatment done for the first time EVER in FL. Between my unmanageable, crazy fro, lack of energy & dexterity issues, actually DOINg my hair takes way too much of my time. I’d rather not spend any of it on my hair; have much more important things to do w/ my time. .
After that, felt extremely nauseous & considering my Lowe’s incident 🤢 on Tuesday, decided to enjoy my self care time, relaxed w my boys & some Netflix, chilling w/ my ‘Friends’. Of course kept myself hydrated w/ lots of high quality h20 (waterboy, get it?! 🤣)💦 & seltzer w/ lime & cranberry juice (working cranberry juice in for my UTI whenever possible). That’s my new, refreshing drink of choice bc h20 only goes so far for me; I need some variety & carbonation in my life🤷🏻♀️but am choosing to stay away from Coke Zero or diet as much as possible, though do still drink it on rare occasions. .
Hope you’re all doing your best, are feeling well & taking care of yourselves❤️💜💙🧡💛💚🎗🐝🍊🙌🏼🙏🏻💪🏻🤘🏻✌🏻
Rock on, Warriors & happy Friday!! Remember, EVERYONE is battling SOMETHING; doesn’t necessarily mean a ‘diagnosis’. Just do your best to show some compassion & kindness to ALL and weed out/block those who mistake that kindness & compassion as stupidity or weakness as you see fit. Know I’m doing the same. 🙌🏼🤘🏻✌🏻💪🏻🐝🍊😇
thank you for this shot! 😔♥️ PS: How appropriate that we both post on the same day?! GO #21
